Guys, I'm hearing a faint hum from my XPA-3. It's coming from the UNIT, not from the speakers. Maybe it's the transformer that's humming?

How long have you had it? Mine are pretty silent, Best bet is to call Emotiva in da mornin. How far away can you hear it?

I received it on Friday and I hooked it up today. I can only hear it if I put my ear really close to the unit.

holy,i don't think i need that much unless I'm gonna be charging people to watch movie's in my backyard with the volume on 10- & maybe even a rave

Wow! They've arrived already? I thought you paid duties and taxes when you bought them? Or did you not get the "landed" price from Emotiva? Either way, they are there now, just don't throw out the back when setting them up.

I use international economy (air) so they arrive quickly vs ground. With this shipping mehtod you pay all the duties/taxes when they show up.
