Your mom likes cheerleader films?

I was really disappointed with It Comes At Night. I was expecting a horror movie and ended up with this "isolation type of thriller" which was boring.
Critics that hailed this film say that was precisely the point -- that it was supposed to be a more "cerebral"-esque horror attempt which made you think that the real terror was coming from "within."

Whatever; it was meaningless and pointless.

I can't believe that none of the officers found the key that was lying in the grass near the barn in First Kill, LOL. Another straight-to-video flick for Bruce.
Haven't I been saying that about Willis and the gaggle of direct-to-video garbage he's been in over the past few years? Everything went downhill after A Good Day to Die Hard...

Bought:

Also several others from Dollar Tree including, Take Me Home Tonight, Best Man Down, We'll Give it a Year, Julia, Jesse, Pants on Fire, and a couple of lower budget animated films that seemed like they were worth checking out for a buck. Novocaine also came from Dollar Tree.

First time seeing this; I thought it was entertaining. I watched the ABC remake series when it aired.

I love the original The Bad News Bears. The newer 2003 one doesn't hold a candle to the original.

Hey! I got this one week ago! Agree with classic TV horror and lots of great stories!

Just curious -- I have a Samsung 49" KS8000 and a Sony UBP-X800. Does your Friday the 13th: The Series fill the entire screen corner to corner, or does your rig somehow format it to 4:3 (as intended)? Same weird thing happens with my Star Trek: Deep Space Nine DVDs (Official DS9 purchased from an FYE).

Hahahahha....yeah...it was pretty horrible...

The last good film this guy (Seagal) did was Fire Down Below, IMO; these direct-to-DVD Lionsgate films he stars in now always has him as a wooden, swollen, out of shape lug that appears to be able to able to take someone down by standing in place and making some "chopping" signs with his hands...always a real head scratcher to me...

And what's with these tinted glasses in every single film now?

I grew up with this series in the 80s; remember never missing it. The reveal of the "aliens" and of course Robert "Freddy Kreuger" Englund starring in it!

Yet another maniac puts on a gas mask to abduct a sexy MILF and her daughter...

What is it with this costume in these horror films?

Wow, I never realized that was Robert Englund until you mentioned it. Now it seems obvious.

Indeed...

Of course, I didn't know him as "Freddy" back then when I watched V...
