Bought 08/23/2016
Best Buy ![]() ![]() ![]() It's somewhat of a long story on how/why I bought the above three, but I'll try to make it short... First of all, I had already pre-ordered/received DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but that copy arrived with a small issue (on the slipbox), so I was planning to exchange it for a mint copy. However I decided to just deal with it, since it wasn't a huge issue, and I'd found someone who wanted to buy the digital copy. Then I went to Best Buy to pick up my pre-ordered copy of the BB Exclusive of The Walking Dead Season 6 with the Lenticular Slipcover, and while I was there I couldn't resist looking for a mint copy of Legends of Tomorrow ![]() ![]() The Vampire Diaries Season 6 was $14.99 & Firefly: The Complete Series was $12.99, and the total for all three ended up being $60.83 with tax. The best part is that I already had a $10 gift card, from when I spent >$50 to pre-order the first copy of Legends of Tomorrow and The Walking Dead S6 BB exclusive. So I only paid $50.83, and I got another $10 gift card ![]() ![]() Anyways, I've already sold both the Digital HD copies for Legends of Tomorrow (for $27 total), so once I sell the first copy of the BD I will have only paid around $10 for the mint copy ![]() Oh, and those three put my Blu-ray.com collection at 499 Blu-rays, so I'm trying to find a Blu-ray I really want for my 500th. Of course I do have at least 5 doubles in my collection, so it won't technically be my 500th, but I still wanna find something special ![]() ![]() Watched ![]() ![]() I watched Man of Steel in around an hour and a half, as I fast forwarded through quite a bit of it since I wasn't going to have time to watch it and BvS before I needed to leave the house to go see... ![]() ![]() ![]() I've been wanting to see this so bad since it was released, but I had a bad cold so I wasn't feeling up to it until recently. I just got home from the 10:45pm showing around two hours ago, and I'm very happy I was finally able to see it ![]() Unfortunately it was too late for me to see it in IMAX 3D or even regular 3D, so I saw it in AMC Prime. I used a $12 movie money certificate, so I only paid $4.90 instead of $16.90 for the AMC Prime ticket, and I used two $3 concession certificates to get a free drink ![]() To be honest I'm not 100% sure about how I feel about this movie yet, as there were quite a few things I disliked, and quite a few things I really liked. I already want to go see it again, so I did enjoy it, but it definitely wasn't as good as I hoped/expected it to be ![]() |

I bought that around the time it was originally released and it didn't have a slipcover. I have never seen a slipcover on a Shout! Roger's Cult Classics Collection release.
