I just don't know where are you expecting to find a brand new pair of RC-50? If you are lucky enough to find a pair of RC-50 I would say that 600$ would be a fair price as they retailed new at $1300

I get so confused but you are right I think it was 2K in Canada and 1500 for the rc-30, I think 1300 US was the retail price for the RC-30.

so 800$ would still be a fair price although it was possible to get them cheaper on clearance.

They normally charge shipping on top of their prices. I didn't realize they were offering free shipping on top of the sale prices...that's all. Those are certainly some terrific deals then.

If you see my second reply here, I think 800$ is a fair price if you intend to use them as a 2 channel setup they should do well mids and highs are very laidback on the RC, some people might think they are lacking definition but paired with the right amp they sound beautiful. As for pairing them to a CC-10 not sure it's the greatest idea.

The Denon looks like a decent Integrated Amplifier. If you are looking at the PMA 1055r then ok should do fine in 2 channels. One thing is I cannot comment on the sound properties of this amplifier as I never heard it.

What are you currently driving the RC-50 with?

Currently driving them with Marantz AVR SR5005. But feel something is missing.

One more thing, i currently ran Audyssey (2nd time) and found that old Audyssey settings were better. Can i switch back to old Audyssey settings? I tried doing reset but there are no changes.

AFAIK you cannot... Unless you saved the previous settings on your computer somehow...

I was glad to snag the RC-30 for $199 a speaker earlier this year.

Yes Mike indeed that was an amazing deal on the RC-30 and 800$ on the RC-50 is still a very good deal.

what do you feel is missing, Denon and the new Marantz may have similar sound, maybe you should save up some more and aim for something at the next level.

Your RC-50 are speakers that could pair up very well with Arcam, Naim, Prima Luna, Exposure and T+A and much more.

I am not sure what you are looking to enphasize, the RC-50 are super laid back speakers.

CC10 arrived today. Now I'm trying to solve how to place it. TV takes up all of the top of the stand and the shelve below isn't big enough which I already knew going into this. Going to see if either #1 I can build some kind of riser to lift my tv up so I can fit this under the homemade riser, or #2 figure out how to place it above the tv without it looking too bad.

There have been several people that have built risers to put their TVs on... I think that would be the best thing, or mount your TV on the wall.

I don't know if your tv can be wall mounted, but that would be the best. If not, try and build a riser. Make sure you you leave enough room around it and also behind it.

Unfortunately no, it can't be wall mounted. It's too thick at the base and then angles up to thin at the top due to it being a rear projection. One day I'll upgrade to a plasma and then this wouldn't be an issue.
