This is a really good game, and Southern Miss is still up a touchdown. Hopefully Houston can find a way to win, although you have to wonder if Sumlin will be there to coach them in their bowl game.

I had no idea till the broadcast crew just mentioned it that if Houston makes a BCS game the money gets split between all the CUSA schools. Each school would get nearly $3 mill a piece if Houston wins today. Even Southern Miss would make more bowl money for losing today than if they won. As a UCF fan it now makes me want Houston to win.

Southern Miss is actually a pretty good team. With a few breaks they could have been undefeated coming into this game. They said the Southern Miss QB has broken most of Brett Favre's school passing records.

Wow, Southern Miss just took a 3 TD lead 42-21 going into the 4th. It's definitely not over given how fast Houston to score, but this one isn't looking good.

For the last couple years now Southern Miss has been a really respectable team. I'm surprised Fedora isn't getting more looks for the coaching vacancies.

Southern Miss just kept Houston in it what that terrible fumble. They were close to scoring yet again. Just what Houston needed.

All comes down to this fourth down, Southern Miss is owning the line of scrimmage in this game. I don't know if they can make it.

Another pick thrown by Keenum returned for a TD. Southern Miss leads 49-21. Can't believe this one is a blowout.

Houston losing could open the door for a Boise St. BCS game I suppose given Boise was just one spot behind Houston coming into this weekend in the rankings.

It's not that shocking. Houston has had a pretty easy schedule. Their undefeated record just wasn't that impressive when you look at who they played.

If Georgia wants to beat LSU, one field goal in two deep drives is not going to do it.

That's true. Houston's strength of schedule coming into this week was 116th out of 120 D1 teams. The only BCS conf school they played all year was a mediocre UCLA team.

LSU's offense can be downright terrible some games. They have 12 total yards at halftime. Thanks to the defense they're down just 10-7.

Don't forget ZERO first downs. LSU should not be number #1. A number 1 team should never allow this to happen. I sure hope that Georgia wins this game.

LSU has this one well in hand now. Even if Georgia does rally and win by a slim margin LSU is likely to make the title game anyway. LSU had to lose big to miss the title game.

The BCS title game is likely to be a ratings mess. I doubt two offensively boring teams located very closely in the southeast and playing a re-match game are going to be a big draw.

It's for the championship, people are going to watch. I'm bummed by the rematch, but there is no way in hell I would miss the championship game. I love football too much.

I just don't get why anyone would want to have seen Houston for example, who was 12-0 go play LSU, and get smashed worse than they did today simply for difference. We saw what happened in the Pac-10 championship what happened when undeserving teams get in, it turns it into a joke.
