They could save a bit of money on roster cuts and could afford to go live with the savings.

Dr. Stevie
Kevin Nash
Raven
Rhino
Rob Terry
Matt Morgan
Scott Hall
Tomko

All of them are either past it or won't amount to anything.

Obviously more than roster cuts need to happen.

So was Hogan's plan to come in and give all his buddies a few big paydays and bankrupt the company. If so, job well done.

That became painfully obvious about a month in. :S

So yeah, I'm sticking with my February 2011 claim.

This company was well on the road to bankruptcy before Hogan came along.

As TNA is not a publicly traded company we cant be sure just how bad the finances are at the moment.

One thing for sure is that with the current monthly wage bill for talent, they cant be making a profit.

The show needs to be live in order to improve ratings. They have proven this with the live episodes they have done so far. Taping a months worth of shows in a week is not a good move ratings wise.

TNA in the UK has been doing very well ratings wise, with it being one of the most watched shows on the BRAVO network (which holds a good EPG number listing on the SKY satelite EPG).
TNA did focus alot of time on the UK market but that all seems to have stopped now with the fallout about BRAVO showing the PPV's.

We need TNA to be live in the USA and UK, with live HD feeds available internationally a la WWE for things to improve.

Ratings are key to the future of TNA.

Speaking of TNA PPV - Sacrifice was last night and I have just searched for when it is on in the UK.

PPV's were previously shown on BRAVO2 on the wednesday after the show until BRAVO spat their dummy out. The PPV's were then picked up by Extreme Sports Net (FTA on 28.2 degrees east, across Europe I might add lol) and were shown on the Friday following the show.

However just did a search and I cannot find a listing for it anywhere.

Anyone heard any news about where the PPV's are now being shown in the UK??????

And for them to improve financially they need to do their weekly show on the road. They aren't making diddly squat at the Impact Zone.

Tickets for Impact at the impact zone in the past have been free. They had a system where you applied for tickets.

Thats why for a very long time they never mentioned being sold out, instead stating the impact zone was jam packed ect. Check old editions of impact and you will notice this lol. If nothing was sold, then you cant really sell out the impact zone.

Now, with the big name stars on board I believe the ticket price is $25.00 as stated above. I also have heard rumours of TNA issueing lifetime free passes to some diehard fans a few years ago.

One things for sure they are not making a great deal of gate money on the shows.

Giving out free tickets is a very stupid business plan if you want to be around for a long time.

I agree, but these days, even WWE "papers" events (gives out free tickets to give the impression of a capacity crowd to those watching on TV).

You guys are all wrong!

Yes, going to a TNA show at the IZ is free because it's at Universal Studios and TNA can't charge you for a "tix"!

About a "ticket system", there are just different lines: Park guess, VIP and non-park guess! It's a first come, first service! You can get there early and get a "line number" so you don't have to wait in line all day!

They could still charge if they wanted to. WCW used to charge when they were there.

Scott Hall was arrested last week on charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The Seminole County Sheriff's office was called at 1:43 a.m. on May 14 with a call saying there was a disturbance at the Hitching Post Bar in Chuluota, Florida, located about 20 minutes outside of Orlando.

When a deputy arrived, he found a bartender insisting Hall leave the bar, but the wrestling star cursed at him and other patrons. According to the police report, Hall appeared intoxicated, was slurring his speech and his eyes were bloodshot.

When Hall was told he was being placed in custody for intoxication, he resisted and swore at the officer, but the deputy managed to place handcuffs on him. Due to Hall's inordinate size, the officer utilized two sets of handcuffs in tandem, and placed him in a patrol car.

The bartender told the deputy that Hall had been "drinking heavily" and "became aggressive inside the bar," the report states. He pushed a customer and argued with the female bartender and called her names, the report says.

Hall was told never to return to the bar. When Hall was booked, he claimed he was unemployed.
