Q&A found on Scream Factory's Facebook page:

Are there going to be any special features at all on the regular directors cut release?

There will be and will be announced in full later on in the Summer or early Fall.

I'm one of the first 1,000 as well but I ordered an hour after the pre-order up so wasn't worried. Looks like this is selling extremely well so far despite the high price.

Sweet, my order # is less than 83300 (puts me around 718 out of 1000 when I ordered at 6:30pm yesterday). I have to say though, I am quite surprised how quickly they went through the first 1000, glad I didn't hesitate much longer. Good for them, a labor of love finally paying off.

I waffled on this, I hate when I waffle. I thought theyd be around longer. The main draw for me was the poster and the artwork and without the extras announced I couldnt pull the trigger........oh well.

Can you still get the poster even if you order one of the remaining 4,000?

Hmm, my order number is below 83300 but the word "taken" doesn't appear anywhere in the email and on my account page it shows the status as "in process". I wonder if I will still get one of the first 1000?

I wouldn't imagine so, the posters are a limited edition run.

I ordered this minutes after the announcement was made, according to my order number, I got 115/1000, I was SO CLOSE to getting under 100!

I'm sure we're both good, mine doesn't say it either and I was already charged.

$80,000 probably goes a long way to covering the restoration costs.

Looks like I'm 177/1,000, I'm good with that (although would've been cool to be less than 100).

Oye... I'm going to have to think on this. $80 is a bit steep, especially on a budget.

We're estimating.

If 83300 is the cutoff, 82300 should be #1 and so on.

I'll be keeping my eye out for the Limited Edition when it goes up for pre order on Amazon and jump on it immediately. Knowing I can pick it up for at least a slightly smaller amount through them makes me a little bit happier.
I have no problem paying a bigger amount of money on a title with this much love and care going into it. I did come from the laserdisc days and as mentioned earlier by others they were all a bit pricey averaging $40 a pop but even then there were Limited Editions and even Criterions that were as high as $100 -$150.
Truth be told.....I am a cheapskate, but I'll pay what Amazon is willing to charge for the LE.

And that $80 price tag gets less and less valuable.

But at least that $80 edition will be steelbook... oh, wait it's not.
