If it's exactly 400 minutes, it equates to 6.66 hours.

Yeah, I would think that if it just left final editing that it won't be through final mixing, assembly, dvd manufacturing, and shipped in less than 3 weeks.

I also think it's quite amateurish if they know this and are still pre-selling under fals pretenses on their website. A delay I can forgive, but you should be telling people the second you know about it as well as setting new expectations.

Again, if this is delayed any real length of time, and they aren't offering anything extra to those who have already ordered, I'm considering cancelling my order and maybe even waiting for it to hit Amazon.

People either don't seem to get/don't care, that when ordered from the Crystallakememories website you get an exclusive 4 hour bonus disc. Amazon and everywhere else won't have this.

Puzzling. I love Amazon, but jeesh.

I get that I'm getting a 4 hour disc. That's why I ordered from them directly, but if they can't be bothered to inform of the delay, if the delay is any longer than a couple of weeks, and they are still taking orders and stating 8/28/13 on their website, I might consider cancelling this order off of principle and waiting for Amazon.

Its questionable what an extra 4 hours of interviews will offer anyway considering the feature itself is almost 7 hours. When you run that long, I shudder to think what the outakes will provide that you didn't have time to cover in the main feature.

53 minutes uninterrupted of Corey Feldman making fart noises with his armpit into a microphone? 2 hours of watching Daniel Farrands trying in vain to beat the F13 video game? an hour of Feldman "off the wagon: uncensored"? 20 minutes of Crispin Glover interpretive dancing?

Just sayin.

2 weeks, I'm fine with. They still need to issue a statement though.

I'm considering the same thing you are... at this point if they delay the release to the same day as the full anthology, it seems silly for me not to cancel the documentary and just order the anthology itself. I pre-ordered under the assumption that I'd get the bonus disk AND would have it on or around August 27th, BEFORE the movies themselves were released. But if everything drops on the same day,I'd rather use the documentary money to buy the film set and just pick up the Doc at some distant point in the future. We'll see what happens though.. So far, as i stated last night, only DD has made any statements, so as far as I'm concerned the release is still set for 8/27/13.

Until I see the price difference between Amazon and purchasing direct I can't determine if the bonus disc is worth the extra cost.

Is this for the normal release too? It still hasn't gone live on Amazon.com yet!

Im not sure at all, there website still has the countdown to release date.If DD has postponed their signing i can only assume its because they won't have product in time.I can't see not being able for 1 or 2 signee's to attend would delay the whole event.im sure Sean Clark could supply more.

I know it'd be frowned upon, but I may just go ahead and cancel the DD order and if it ever or when it ever comes through Amazon, I'll order through them. I just don't like that "hold". Besides, knowing my luck, something autographed of that magnitude, something will happen to it. I have one autographed thing in my possession and I felt on top of the world owning that.

I can certainly understand if some want to cancel, its just for me most,if not all of the friday people will never come to England so this may be the only way to get their sigs on something friday related, and it would be just cool to have.I'm more annoyed that i might not get to see this for awhile yet,i don't think theres anything coming out i want to see more.

Yeah, this would be your best bet and I hope you get (the signature edition) sooner and "super" later. I will admit, the only person I would want an autograph (a personal autograph signed to me) from is Amy Steele (Ginny, part 2), Lar Park Lincoln (Tina, part 7), and Ted White (Jason, part 4).

How do you cancel if you ordered through the crystallakememories web site? Their order process was pitiful, directing you to PayPal, without an order confirmation or e-mail from crystallakememories website. The only thing I have is the PayPal confirmation screenshot. The money has already been taken out (which is ridiculous, but I guess we would have given them a break, since they are a small operation unlike Amazon). However, now we appear to be stuck having paid in full, and being delayed "indefinitely?!?" without any official statement.

I'm wondering the same thing. If they announce 9/13, I'll keep my order, if it's "indefinite", I'm going to cancel (If I can figure out how to do so). If they don't update the status within a few days, I'm going to cancel out of principle no matter what.

It seems like it's amateur hour at 1428 films. I can let them slide on some things, but small company or not, they need to be held accountable to at least the base minimum of customer service and order fulfillment standards.

Losing respect for them by the minute.

Well, I just got an email from Sue (DD) and my order's canceled. She seems very nice. I don't feel any kind of way towards DD (just wanted to put that out there).

I'll still get the documentary whenever (or IF) it comes out, but I got other things I would like to get.

I believe when you use paypal, it always deducts automatically. You could try e-mailing them at orders@crystallakememories.net.
