Obi-Wan Kenobi was awesome in THE CLONE WARS and REBELS. Ewan McGregor better be in this. He was awesome in TRAINSPOTTING 2, which was far superior to The Last Jedi.

Any Clone Wars set Kenobi action in books or comics which would work well as flashback scenes?

I dunno if they'd recreate anything from the CG Clone Wars cuz those are still canon, and I don't remember anything from the old Clone Wars that they'd bother recreating. A lot of that stuff was heavily stylized and wouldn't really translate to live-action anyway. Actually maybe it would, now that Rian Johnson randomly gave Leia superpowers.

The prequels had some truly outstanding models. I mean really amazing work. But they are inserted into scenes in a way that is unconvincing and looks artificial. It reminds me of old movies where someone is driving a car.

The making of ROTS shows a huge diorama of a valley on Mustafar, with extremely authentic practical "lava". It looks great.

In the film? That diorama looks as real... ie as fake... as everything else.

What would be awesome is if they adapted the now non-canon first appearance of General Grevious from CW microseries. It to this day it is the coolest scene with the name Star Wars attached. They need to make this happen.

They'd neuter Grievous though and make him a sissy.

But I see where you're coming from. Show him slaughter a few Jedi then Obi Wan arrives and saves the day.

They would need to do it with the balls the microseries had though. He was frightening. I loved it when he crushed one jedi's head with his foot while simultaneously fighting off 3 others.

Fear Grievous again.

Clone Wars is LEGENDS and THE CLONE WARS is CANON. You STAR WARS nuts should've already known this.

Whoever decided that Grievous should be a hacking, wheezing joke instead of a brutal monster is a fool of the highest calibre.

Fools don't get to decide what is & isn't canon.

That'd be George Lucas. Remember him? He created Star Wars. Sold it for three and a half billion dollars and gave the money to charity.

Remind me, what have you achieved?

I haven't achieved much but I also haven't done anything as stupid as create a coughing droid.

Grievous isn't a droid. You might want to rethink your claim about not being stupid.

They should've shown Grievous whooping some red shirt Jedi's earlier in the film before his fight with Obi Wan. At least then there might have been some tension in that fight. He could've won the previous fight with only two arms and then his arms split into four when fights Kenobi. Me personally, I would have been like, "oh sh*t Obi Wan's in trouble."

Droid or cyborg, who cares? He is from the prequels and should be forgotten completely.

Zzzzzz. Wake me up when you have something to say. So far, you're just noise.
