I spent some time leveling up myself last night. Finally learned where to repair my weapon, since it got beat down and was doing crap for damage.

i accidentally ran into father .. managed to get him to half life before succumbing to his power ... did anyone else run into that pointy nosed guy in black where you kinda head toward the sewers ?? i could of sworn he gave me some kind of cape but i have nothing in my inventory

Can you post a video of how you did it? Every video I see guys use molotovs, but when I used them, they did not do a lot of damage.
About the special item for this fight:

[Show spoiler]I did not find the music box to be very helpful, by the way. It seemed to make the monster transformation occur earlier.

you eventually go to the dreame area, there is a gift - one of which is the bell....what I did: outside the cleric beat, I used it and it sent a summons....couple moments later a guy showed up and we took it down pretty easily......


Dont have a capture card. The key is getting the bell item that you can use


I feel like I've explored Central Yaharnan pretty well, but outside the clinic, there is a locked gate in the initial cemetery - still no idea how to access that area

Okay. Yeah, I summoned a phantom, too. I could not solo him. I wanted to see you solo him. I have the same problem with that Yharnam cemetery gate. Never found a lever.

By the way, I have devised that when you pick up consumables, like blood and bullets, if you don't have inventory space, it goes automatically to your storage. I can no longer pick up anymore blood, because my storage is full. I've never put anything but initial garments in storage.

yes it does and if you die with less than 20 of the vials or bullets and have some in storage it will start you with 20 when you ressurect ..

Is there any other lamp in Old Yahrnam? Seems like the boss is a bit of a hike to get to if you die beforehand.

[Show spoiler]Did anyone go back to Central Yharnam and tell the woman looking for a safe place to come to the cathedral? The creepy being in the ground says it's a safe place, but chuckles in a way that sounds very, very insincere.

I did.

However, if you go back to the clinic lamp, and go back up the stairs to where you FIRST started the game, there is now an NPC called Ioesfca. She's another safe place to send people.

[Show spoiler]She claims to be a doctor, and gives you a BA health vial. She seems more innocent. I wouldn't be surprised if the cathedral thing actually IS good. And she's the bad one.

Was finally able to play this last night for a few hours. It's going to take a little bit of time getting used to not having a shield like in the previous games but so far I love it. Where do you go to level up?

[Show spoiler]That's weird, I talked to Ioesfca at the starting point where she locked herself in and then I talked to that first lady who won't come out of her house and I wasn't given the option to tell her where to go. It only let me select "No" when she asked if I knew of a place.

which bridge ??? the one with the werewolves ?? i cant seem to find the second lamp and i have been all over the place now ....
