I wouldn’t expect it until at least May or June, and I’d be shocked if the extras are anything more than a Q&A (unless they’re able to license the PLAIN extras that are coming out on the French release). Curzon’s last windowed release, The Handmaiden, was an April theatrical release and took a further 4 months to arrive on disc in early August.

Hadn't realised it had not been on cinemas yet! There's a French UHD so fingers crossed.

The Australian and German theatrical releases from eOne came over a month later, yet the German Blu-ray is already set for 26 March and the Australian Blu-ray is set for 4 March, less than two months away.

Yet in the UK, eOne has not even announced a DVD release date, yet. There is nothing on Base and no video classification on the BBFC, although the cast and crew interviews that will likely make up the disc extras were passed last month. The Amazon and HMV DVD listings have been updated, but still there is no UK release date.

Interestingly, it seems that the UK DVD will have German audio and subtitles, likely meaning that the UK, Australian and German DVDs are identical, and thus, that the Australian and German Blu-rays will be identical, too. Unsurprisingly, this would also mean that the same Blu-ray could be issued in the UK if eOne desired.

I mean, I'm happy that the film is being released on Blu-ray, but at least give this British film some kind of British home video release.
Here is the Aussie back cover for Official Secrets:

There is still no UK Blu-ray or DVD release date and the Amazon listing remains inactive even after being updated. Interestingly, I did just notice that the film seems to be coming to Amazon digitally on 10 February, so maybe this film has been chosen as some kind of unfortunate "test case"?

The UK production Ethel & Ernest (2016), a hand-drawn animated film based on the book by Raymond Briggs, is finally getting a Blu-ray release from TC Entertainment in Japan on May 8th, 2020:

iTunes has it listed as ‘expected’ 1st June. Same say amazon has for the physical release. I’m hoping we get an announcement on the US Criterion release date before then.

Just caught the end of Stakeout (John Badham, 1987) on Sony Movies Classic.

Emilio Estevez, Richard Dreyfuss, Madeline Stowe (never liked her really) and Aidan Quinn - remember him?

Where's a blu-ray release? Don't bother with Another Stakeout though - it's terrible!

It’s probably not something that people here want, but just incase...

Patrick was only released here last year on DVD. It was later released in America on Blu-ray however, I believe it is region locked. Fortunately, it can be purchased from Amazon Germany.

I found this one especially surprising considering it is a British film.

Another Stakeout is awesome, very funny. At least that one has a blu but I'd love it if the first Stakeout got a long overdue blu.

Disney controls it over here so maybe they didn’t see value in it. Prefer the Richard Franklin myself

Looks like Richard Jewell will be DVD only

It's so annoying when distributors deprive us of a Blu Ray release, in this day and age.

With The Wizard (1989) being released by Shout Factory in the US is there any chance Arrow could release it for the UK?

I wasn’t aware Samurai Marathon had already been released here, but it dropped on VOD in January from Signature Entertainment. Frustrating because they usually at least come out with barebones Blu-rays or token theatrical releases.
