Might've already mentioned it but I just own an XBOX 360 at the moment and will be eventually buying a PS3 down the line. Of course research helps for titles including console exclusive but 9/10 if there's a PC counterpart for a title, I'm rather buy it for PC. Researching though but I'd still buy Oblivion, no need to since I already own it, Skyrim, Fallout: New Vegas for PC. Already own Morrowind and Fallout 3 - GotYE.
Mods for these titles > Console
You guys are wasting your money playing these heavily modable titles on console instead of PC.
If all gaming is better on PC to you, why even buy a 360 or PS3?

I for one love playing my games on my 50 inch plasma, not a 17-25 inch monitor.

I mentioned heavily modifiable titles with Bethesda are better on PC due to modding them using whichever you want. But console exclusives it doesn't matter.
You can hook up your graphics card, if it has HDMI, to your receiver for surround then to your display for obviously picture. Then you can still set all the settings far greater compared to Oblivion on 360/PS3.
Unless if you own a Mac then you're SOL.

Actually, with Bethesda games, I typically buy them on both the PC and PS3. Mods or no, I just love these games.

It's not that difficult to mod those games on Consoles either. There was a time, when you could only mod the PC version, but now you just load your save onto a thumb drive open the save with a hex editor and mod it just like you would a PC game.

I've just purchased this since I hear fans of Fallout will love this franchise as well.

I love fallout 3. New vegas was okay. I have to say though once I made it out of the sewer I lost interest fast. Boring game imo.

I picked up the Anniversary edition of this the week it came out, and since then I've only put about 10 hours into it (part of that was due to me being on vacation).

It's alright, but at this point, nothing mind-blowing to me, yet. Also, I was somehow sucked into the Shivering Isle's DLC, so I haven't even started the main quest yet, really.

I just don't know if I'm going to finish it or not. I'm sure it's a great game, but it just might not be for me.

I believe that individuals who truly love the Fallout franchise will not connect as well with the Elder Scroll series. It's just a different type of game all together in my opinion. I played Elder Scrolls before & after Fallout 3 & New Vegas & I can honestly say that I will always be a Fallout fan for life. Not to take away from the Oblivion series, I just can't seem to connect with Elder Scrolls like I have with Fallout 3 & New Vegas. That's just my opinion so don't flame for it!

You're also playing it 5 years late. Hard to be mindblowing after 5 years.
