That is the truth. I saved my self a lot of hairs on my head thanks to this crew here

I ordered those speaker stands tonight. Best Buy didn't have them and I can save ~$10 ordering online. Just don't get the instant gratification

Yeah Base on numbers and the data you gave to us Sunfire really looked like a logical choice. The peak to peak Excursion is amazing with 2 inches this is really making a difference and the 12 will put out bigger numbers than the 10.

Looks amazing Bro Hell yeah! love it

Let us know how those 70's sound when they're broken in!
Oh yeah Im eyeing the RC-R's for sure... Im planning on doing 7.1... but I wont be able to use the new speakers yet... we're moving into our new place in November... and Im gonna be finishing the basement off into a home theatre room... and that probably wont be complete till approx May... so till then I just have to sit and stare and my speakers in their boxes

For the center speaker I was looking at the RC-LCR...

Does 7.1 make a diff right now? I mean should I go all out... or at least just wire my system in wall for 7.1 and do 5.1 for now???

Cheers

I would not say it's a must but it's always nice to play 6.1 (Top Gun, America Psycho T2) and 7.1 DTS MA (A lot of te Lionsgate movies like Transporter 3) or PCM Uccompressed 7.1 on a 7.1 setup. It's really a matter of choice but depending of the size of room you have 5.1 could be enough. There is trhead on this forum with the list of movies in 7.1.

You could use some RC-mini as Back Surrounds and RC-R as your side surrounds but if your budget allow you go with 4 RC-R that would be the best, unless you could find some RC-10 for really cheap somewhere to use as Back surround. LCR is the way to go for the RC series as center channel specially with those crazy RC-70.

Just get ready for 7.1 and wait for the RC-R to go on special.

I agree with BigAl. If your budget will allow, go for 4 RC-R's if you're gonna go 7.1. If you need to space it out, get an LCR from Vann's for $300 and pick up a couple of RC-R's to complete the 5.1. You can always pick up two more RC-R's down the road. That system will be killer!

Sweet I can't wait to see that with your setup

Must really be insane. For my part I would have to order straight from the us.

I might end up ordering one with my next HT setup.

Beautiful setup hc666 man I got to find a way to hook my turn table as well and start enjoying the sound of vinyl again as this is true lossless audio with natural sound.
Continuous wave without loss this is it.
