I don't see it happening. Sugar will take Michigan for sure. They travel great. After that they'll take TCU if they're forced to or Kansas State if it's an at-large. I haven't seen a single projection with VT in a BCS bowl.

Edit: Reading rumors that Virginia Tech will make a BCS bowl rather than a second Big 12 team.

Edit 2: It sounds like Virginia Tech to the Sugar Bowl is happening. I'm a bit surprised by this because I would think Kansas State would travel better since they haven't been to a BCS bowl since 2004 but I suppose VT brings better TV ratings, especially with another Midwest team in the game.

Oklahoma St. is going to lose their offensive stars anyway next season. Weeden is a senior and all-world WR Blackmon is sure to enter the draft. That makes the OK St. OC job far less tempting I imagine.

Does Clemson have the bulk of their guys coming back next year?

He is in NC still with J Scott and they are after Keith Marshall hard. Penn St. looking at Mark Richt? GA fans have had enough and GA may want to make a change with a new AD and all. GA has been in decline for a few years now. Yeah I know you won 10 straight and played for the SEC championship, and lost big, but you didn't beat anyone this year. See you in Miami! GO TIGERS!

43 redshirt and true freshman. We will have a couple upperclassman losses that will hurt (junior dwayne allen being the biggest) but the future is bright.

I feel for ok st, i enjoyed LSU-Bama earlier in the year, but i want to see that offense against all the pro's on LSU's defense. The drubbing of Oklahoma last night confirmed it for me. I wish the first vote in polls took place later. Ok st was penalized by preseason expectations, which is bullshit

Oklahoma St. coach just said "we still buy into the system." That right there makes me FAR less sympathetic to Oklahoma St.'s case for making the title game. I'm sick to death of these coaches parroting the BCS system talking points, even when they get screwed over by it.

I didn't realize it till just now but Alabama beat only 3 D1 schools with a winning record all season. Oklahoma St. beat 7.

Enough of this nonsense. This entire ESPN selection special is just talking about how great the BCS system is. I just turned it off.

No seriously it hurts everyone even Alabama if a 3rd ranked team can beat a top10 team and not move up.

LOL Herby is right had Alabama been in the pac-10 and they'd have never played everyone would have been begging for LSU/Bama.

No we didn't lose due to bad calls. We lost because we got our butts kicked in the second half. LSU has great players and great depth and they wore us down.

Just saying that on that play several obvious flags should have been thrown. Early in the first half an LSU player hit a Georgia player after the play and that wasn't called either.

Bottom line is LSU beat us.

I somewhat saw this coming & was expecting it. I am happy with the Cotton Bowl & will go to the game & watch K-State win 11 games.

But the ACC gets 2 teams in? VTect? Come on.

OSU is Ohio St. O line will have to rebuilt as well as the inside of the d line. All skill players except D Allen, he should go, but stud behind him. ESPN has a bunch of tools that work for them. What a crap channel that pumps the all mighty SEC. Best from top to bottom my a$$! OK St. got robbed. You can't lose at home. Every game counts, BS!

Rose Bowl: Wisconsin vs. Oregon
Fiesta Bowl: Stanford vs. Oklahoma St.
Sugar Bowl: Michigan vs. Virginia Tech

Others:

Champs Sports: FSU vs. Notre Dame
Ticketcity Bowl: Houston vs. Penn St. - Poor Houston went from what would have been a spot in the Sugar Bowl to playing Pedo U. in a garbage bowl in the course of one week.
Capital One Bowl: South Carolina vs. Nebraska
Gator Bowl: Florida vs. Ohio St.
Outback Bowl: Georgia vs. Michigan St.
Cotton Bowl: Arkansas vs. Kansas St.

I said this a month ago or so, but this championship to me doesn't even count for extending the SEC championship streak, because the BCS, and the voters, decided to not even give anyone else a try.

Why don't they change the S in "BCS" to stand for SEC, because the rest of the country might as well not exist.

I kind of have to agree here. I'm not too happy about a same-conference championship. Let alone the SEC. Leg alone a rematch. But, I don't have enough money to make anyone hear my pissing and moaning.
