Bushleague! My CR10's were suppose to be delivered yesterday by UPS. They weren't. I just gave them a call and apparently they are lost. Just called up Vanns and they've set up the trace with UPS. Man, I was planning on setting those up this weekend.

that sucks.... however usually, that means it fell off a conveyor and is sitting on a floor somewhere. Im sure you'll have them sooner then you think.. or Vanns should ship you new ones.

Fall off a conveyo is never a good thing for speakers, hopefully they don't have internal damage.

Yeah no doubt. Vanns said it could take UPS 5 days or so before I hear anything back. Tracking status on the website still shows last scan was on 08/02 in Phoenix. So close, yet so far away.

They need serious power and the fact that they are 8 ohms you will need huge power amp to push them to their max potential. Even 1k is still a fair price it's roughly 50% of the orginal retail price.

I have a pioneer elite sc-37 running my CF70's right now. I was asking because Vanns is taking preorders on RC70s for $1200 a pair. Is it worth selling my CF70s and CC10 to get the RC70s and Rc LCR at that price?

that is still a pretty good price for those speakers. they will outperform your CF-70s in terms of detail resolution and overall performance, they will be better then your current speakers. They are all basically 50% off, so that would be a great price.

I wonder where Vanns is getting the 70s from, as they've been discontinued for a while now. Either way, 1200 is a pretty good price.

Still haven't received my CR-10's yet. I called Vanns today and they had failed to open up the trace with UPS last Thursday when I called. So now it'll be even longer until resolution. I did verify that they opened up the trace today as I received an e-mail from them today and the UPS tracking number changed to let me know a trace had been opened. Hopefully I can get these speakers soon and this can be put to bed.

Man that really sucks

when this happens, imagine I ordered tires once and the UPS tracking said was in Montreal help for pickup, so I show up there with the tracking and card that was left in my door by the driver, man it took them like 1 hour to find them in the warehouse.

Hopefully you will get them soon.

Clippins, you ever get your CR-10's? I'm curious to find out how they sound with your setup. Surrounds will be another future upgrade for me after the sub.
