Just snagged this at Blockbuster for 12.99 (2disc bluray no DVD) and the audio is boisterous and FULL! I hope my speakers can take it when I re-watch the film.

This movie is weird with me. I was, and I guess still am a little bit, disappointed in it (but I think many had almost impossible expectations, and I can't say that no matter how hard I tried, I built it up quite a bit), but at the same time, I've seen it six times in total and my enjoyment doesn't diminish in the least. I can't think of the last movie I could say that about.

My only complaint with the disc, and I felt the same way about the IMAX presentations, is that there's a LOOOT of bass. It's a little heavy handed in a lot of scenes. But other than that, I'm really enjoying the hell out of owning this disc.

Not sure what you're referring to as a "digipack ", but I've got the U.S. Trilogy (BB edition, same as all others) and yes, the covering has "some sort of rubber style finish". I posted a while back that it may be to suggest Batman's suit, but ...

Glad I finally got to see this last night, amazing PQ on the IMAX scenes. Unfortunately a major plot point was spoiled by a few people in this thread during my anticipatory reading leading up to watching it, but my girlfriend never saw that part of it coming in the film, so that's good at least. Some inconsiderate douches in here, for sure.

...sticking to the "deals" portion of this site from now on.

you got an issue....find a tissue. this sights policy for spoiler tags is 30 days after theatrical release. now i dont go around posting plot points but what the heck do you expect...anticipatory reading? come on bro...this is all on you.

I believe the 30 day deal is for the movie discussion in the movie section of the forum. Which is really where that stuff should be discussed anyway, if we're citing policy.

For the world's greatest detective, Batman sure is dumb. He think's Bane escaped as a child, but doesn't even catch on that if that were true, why would Bane come back to the prison as an adult to get mutilated for the old doctor to make him a mask? If he escaped with the LOS, he wouldn't have come back as an adult. Bruce never says he escaped twice.

Anyone else think the movie could have been The Blue Beetle Rises with just a few costume and name changes? The Bat is the Blue Beetles ride. Full on.
