This will be the first title that Code Red has given to Dark Force that I actually wanted to see. Too bad I don’t purchase Dark Force titles.

Sounds like Dark Force will be attempting to replicate the glowing red eyes effect of the VHS cover. I don't agree with their business practices, but I think it will be pretty cool if they pull this gimmick off. It will NOT be cool if they ask more than it is worth because of the gimmick.

Makes me wish the Frankenhooker Blu had the "Wanna Date?" sound chip.

From his comments on FB it'll cost him almost nothing to add this gimmick, but he's going to milk it's limited ability and charge $40. While saying that only so many can come out of the pressing plant at once...

DF also says the cover art will be reversible. Perhaps the slipcover will have blinking eyes? I think replicating the iconic VHS box is a fun idea but not if it’s expensive and they only sell 5 at a time. I’ll pay $50 for Opera and Suspiria but certainly not Dead Pit

$20 is the most I would pay for Dead Pit - and that would be splurging. The movie is not very good.

As a Dark Force title, he'll be free to offer a combination deal with Point Doom, Mirror Mirror or both or in a variety of combinations. He gets to set the price and make whatever combos he wants when they are his titles so I really don't get why people are upset. Financially, this is good news.

I agree with the price limits. I've not seen the movie. "Collectible" or not, I would not blind buy for more than $25.

But I do think it's a cool idea.
