of course i'm going to open it. i have 5 other steelbooks and i opened them when i bought them. the only reason i was considering leaving it sealed is because i already have an hdtv rip and i can get a blu-ray rip rather easily.

mine came with the postcards. did we already determine all amazon uk would have the postcards?

yes they are in a ziploc style sleeve tucked on the inside of the front cover

Be careful if your only ordering 1 copy, this is what my copy was sent in (I wouldn't even call it a bubble mailer). I'm surprised it came with no damage what so ever.

You might want to consider blocking out your name & address on the shipping label. You never know who's lurking on the internet.

I just received the Gladiator German SteelBook and it came in mint condition from Amazon.de but it did have a tear near the opening. I guess this will be the copy that I open and keep the British one sealed.

I got my gladiator here in Vancouver, Canada yesterday from amazon and it came in that dinky envelope. It has one small ding in the top back corner (most people who arent ocd won't notice it) and another small ding on the bottom edge underneath which isn't too noticable as well. WHy can't they ship in those cardboard envelopes! I got transporter 3 that way as well but that came in pristine condition thankfully.

I ordered a single copy and it came in a box, actually all my single copies from Amazon.Uk come in a box.

I was considering buying the UK Steel but when i looked on amazon.co.uk it lists the format as PAL. Doesn't that mean it won't work with my PS3 or TV? (I'm in Canada btw)
