You don't need the color changing, but it's the only way to get cool white LED's (the best IMO. You can only buy warm white by itself and its too yellow looking)

Wiring can be tedious with the color changing, but all you need are some cable ties. Here's what I did:

Looks like this around the third shelf, but you can buy double sided stickies to make it look better. (I have not, it's not that bad really and I rarely pay attention to it. It's what's inside the case that draws attention!)

I don't use anything for dust as it really isn't required. Dust buildup takes quite a while, but I normally dust every two or three months.

The cool white dioder was discontinued by Ikea. I have 2 sets at home.

Yeah that's why I said to get the color changing ones. Sucks because the wiring is much easier with the white only dioders.

I don't own any yet, but will when my wife and I move to a more spacious place in the next couple of years. However, that is the only flaw that I have noticed with those cases. There is still a fair amount of room in the door design for dust to get in. I'll likely work something out to seal the gap somehow once I get them.

I use the 1/4in foam we use to weather proof our windows on the gaps to prevent dust to enter.

Thanks for the tip on the color changing dioders. I may have to switch mine. I hate those warm white dioders.

No problem, and I might try out some of that foam to prevent dust. I hate the warm white too.

I was thinking about getting the Hot Toys Arkham City Batman but decided to pre-order this Batman instead.

Keaton is my absolute favorite Batman of all-time, but I don't think the unmasked Keaton sculpt is very good. I'm planning on just sticking with my '89 Keaton PF I think, unless they update the sculpt as this gets closer to shipping.

I don't blame you. Usually I'm not as picky about the sculpts as most collectors, but that one is pretty off. Plus the PF is amazing.

You do know that the points become active for use 40 days after you recieve a figure. Hopefully you will have already received your Captain America and Iron Man and it will have been 40 days or more.

Well Cap and Iron should be out by August and Vision says around January so I should be good.

Also still waiting to see more of Ultron Thor before I decide if I get that one or Dark World.
