That is really nice... I love the Watchmen Ultimate Edition box but I want in Viva Elite Would it be trouble to ask for a Hi Res of that?

I want to make one but I don't have the talent/programs/computer resources... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have a cover that another member of the site gave me, but I want Variety dangit!

Edit... just noticed man, you got DTS HD-MA for the audio codec... The Ultimate Edition is Dolby TrueHD...

I picked up Poltergeist 2 today and to me it is one of the worst covers I have ever seen, look at it in the search. So I came up with this one, the lettering is crystal clear not fuzzy as shown if anyone wants it PM me. Front cover took a few hours, original poster plus the addition of the family and then streaking it in.

Looks nice, but shouldn't the front cover say "They're back" not "Their back"?

Here are a couple recent customs:

The HANNIBAL cover (linky) is similar to RED DRAGON (linky) and MANHUNTER/RED DRAGON (linky) customs I'd done earlier (to sort of match the official LAMBS art).

The THOMAS CROWN cover (linky) is inspired by the opening titles. I also did one with a black background, but the white looked better printed.

I'm also working on a custom for the original LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. It will look a bit like the remake art, but with a more graphic/newspaper feel like the original posters. We'll see!

I've been working on my Papillon cover a bit. I'm kind of looking for suggestions on what to do to make the back look a little better. Keep in mind that the pics on the back aren't the ones I plan to use (I just stuck them there to fill in the blank space temprorarily) and I still have to color correct the bars around them. The main problem I have is I feel like the movie summary is taking up a little too much space, but I'm not sure what to do about it. I could make it so it doesn't go all the way across, but I don't know what I would do to fill in the blank space (There aren't really enough bonus features to put a box on the cover for them). Any suggestions are appreciated.

Working on a custom for original LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. First is too Saul Bass, the second is too similar to the remake.

I meant to make something more in the period of the original...oh well, back to the drawing board!

Very nice cover! But there's a few things that stand out to me:

1. The "Not just a great escape. It was the greatest." text seems a little bland to me, maybe something more bold would stand out like the font "Impact". The size is a little small also, there's a bunch of room still there.

2. The description of the movie, like you said, is a bit hogging the cover. Maybe if you scale it down a little it would look better. Perhaps some texture in the back of the description and the bottom info would look good to. That is up to you though.

An extra suggestion: For the spine, you should keep to same texture/style as the front (rusted metal). I think if you did that, it would look fantastic on a shelf!

That's about it, other than those things it looks great so far! Looking forward to seeing more!

It may sound like cheating, but you could cut the first paragraph after "... escape Devil's Island." I don't think the DVD has the rest of the text in that paragraph.

Then you could make that copy a little bigger. The tagline could also be bigger, maybe looking more like the front type. You could add a few more rivets, etc. on the side, too.

Having said that... I think it looks great!

I also love the first one!!! Fantastic look!

I'd do something with the text 'though, but it's probably just me.

Still, it's a great looking front cover art

frightism: Thanks! Mostly - I found a bunch of vector trees, and worked with pics of a lake and a house. I drew the figures - though the top 4 were based on a still from the remake. I wanted it to look more like a collage of newspaper pictures, though.

The 2nd one is a comp using different photos, though I re-used the 4 figures I drew, just made them blurry!

Torrente: Guess I won't give up on this yet. I appreciate the feedback. So text-wise, what would you rather see?
