It's because Netflix charges too much money for their dubs to be used on home video. Another example of lost dubs is that the French dub of Violet Evergarden isn't on the FR/UK BD from All the Anime.

It's sad that it's cheaper for, say, Sentai to re-dub Baki themselves than pay to use the Netflix dub most likely...

Upcoming French and Italian releases of Evangelion also aren't including the recent Netflix dubs.
I have to hope Toei & Naoko had it in their agreement with Netflix that they hold full control over physical distribution. Considering how this dub went out if it's way to bring back the Viz voice actors, I can't imagine they would want a different dub for Blu-ray.

It’s still far too earlier to say and a physical release is likely going to be a considerable wait.

Took about nine months for the Mewtwo Strikes Back - Evolution to go from Netflix to Blu-ray, crossing my fingers we see the same timeframe here. And considering Viz Media still got to distribute that movie, it leaves me hopeful they can also distribute these.

There's nothing particularly noteworthy about Eternal's dub retaining the Viz cast. It's a direct sequel. With three exceptions (one of which got redone), all of Netflix's anime dubs are recorded in the LA-area. Viz's Sailor Moon cast is from the LA-area. Most of those actors had already worked with the studio hired for Eternal. It would've been more surprising if they had been replaced.

Whether or not the home video release contains this dub will depend entirely on the publisher's willingness to pay Netflix's asking fee. Sailor Moon isn't some obscure series no one's heard of, so they could just eat the cost. Though, it would be amusing if the same actors had to dub the movie twice.

I'm just happy to see that Sailor moon dub fans are mature about the likely recasting of Helios/pegasus voice.

Due to the apparent licensing freeze, some releases may be unavailable at the moment.
I wonder if the VIZMedia Blurays for Season 4 and Season 5 are as good as the Madman Bluray ones. Any idea? Same question for SuperS movie?

Thanks

(Anyone knows where I can get the Season1 Madman bluray? )

Note: excited to see the SuperS movie on Netflix

I'm not sure if they ship internationally anymore, but Australian vendors JB Hi-Fi and Sanity are probably your best bet.

Madman also sells directly.

Anyone know if the R,S,SuperS movie blu-rays have pretty much the same image quality in both the American and Australian release? It looks like they do to me but considering all the confusion the masters of the show ended up having I wouldn't be surprised there were differences.

The American releases should have incorrect colors due to a color space conversion mistake.

The same thing that happened with Viz's InuYasha Blu-ray sets? I didn't know it happened on other Viz releases.

Yeah, Season 5/Stars is the only set that has the right color grading. Season 4 isn’t bad, but has a yellow tint. 1-3 are completely over saturated.

So it may not be worth to replace VIZmedia Bluray Season 4 and 5 with Madman Blurays?

No. Both use the Toei master.

No. As the poster above me said, both use the same HD master from Toei.

Seasons 1-3 from the Madman are the ones worth hunting down..

The dub of the eternal movies releases tmmr. I hope complaining if the honorifics in the dub isn't too bad.

Brian beacock actually is the new voice of Helios/pegasus. I guess Chris Niosi breaking his nda really did blacklist him from the voice acting dub scene for good?
