I own the 25th box set. The lines are missing from the Atmos and 2.0 mixes.

Most of the box sets are missing the digital code as well, so you have to email Paramount with proof of purchase to get a new one.

I have the Italian release, which is the same exact copy of the UK/German/French/Scandinavian release, but without the 12+ rating sticker on the cover.
No problem with those lines in the Atmos mix, even in the Italian audio (which is basically the same 5.1 mix that came with the 2012 Blu-Ray, but encoded in Dolby instead of DTS).

This is why I hate when studios create new surround tracks.

A) Sometimes sound effects get replaced with newer sound effects
B) Sometimes things are thrown out of sync
C) Sometimes dialogue is accidentally dropped
D) Often they don't include the original audio track; just the new one

I used to love new surround mixes many years ago, but over the years I've learned to hate them for these reasons. When they're faithful, and stay in sync, and aren't missing dialogue, great, but too many times things like this happens, and it's worse when we don't even have the original track included. Just clean up the original audio as best as you can and I'll be happy. Better than all the other frustrations that come along with new mixes.

I was the same. Loved all that crap for how it could show off my system, now I don't even have a system. It's not just surround/Atmos remixes though. OG audio is sometimes re-recorded from the separate DME elements rather than a composite mono/stereo track so even then there's the chance of things being omitted, thrown out of sync, not properly balanced etc. Hell, even when something goes from 5.1 to 5.1 they can still find a way to mess it up, the warbly music on the Babylon 5 Blurays is not cool.

Is the U.K. version corrected?
How about the streaming?
I only thought "this way" was missing. How the hell did I miss the discussion about the others?

Yeah; I hate to get worked up over three lines (and fairly inconsequential ones at that), but it does make you wonder what else may be missing.

I guess it's similar to my annoyance at the new Resident Evil: Afterlife UHD (note to the curious: see relevant thread ). We're at the point where these films are making what will likely be their final appearance on traditional physical media as we know it, so it's disappointing when a part of the movie, no matter how small, gets accidentally left out.

If it were any other movie, I'd probably not notice. After seeing and hearing Titanic 29 times in the theater and having 27(28?) copies at home since 1998, I notice changes. The most apparent change came in 2005 with the touched up special effects when people are holding onto the stern railings before you see the chef take a swig out of his flask. The black blob outlines they had from 1997 to 2005 were erased. Then he changed even more for the 2012 version, though I think rhey were done in good taste. The new flying sky, erasing mountains, adding the top of the funnel, the star arraignment from Rose's POV, the removal of visible lighting equipment, adding a muzzle flash from Cal during the gun chase, etc.

The audio missing is more annoying to me than the difference in visuals, even if the line is incredibly short.

All European discs are the same as the UK one.
They all come from the same Fox/Disney transfer.
The only differences are the cover art (with or without the rating), and only minor language differences.
Just like it was for the 3D Blu-Ray.

I agree.
They could've also included the original 1997 theatrical DTS 5.1 mix.

If Sony can do it with its catalogue titles, or even Criterion, I wonder what keeps some studios from going back to the original masters, clean up the audio and author it for the final release.
It's not like a DTS track takes so much space on a 100 GB disc, or it takes that long to mix it with the video.

Heck, they could've also included the 2012 and 3D Blu-Ray, along with the complete 20th Anniversary Score, with the Collector's Edition, to justify the price.

The 3 commentaries tracks have already been ported.
All they needed was to add the original 5.1 mix as well.

So only the 1998 letterboxed DVD has untouched visual? Even the 2005 DVD have been modified?

So, all three missing lines are Leo bossing people around and repeating himself like he is Gilbert Grape!

There are 16 in this photo. The UK Amazon box set is hidden behind the US in front.

Since thet photo was taken, I bought the Russian limited set and the Spanish BD with the original poster artwork and the limited edition US UHD back in December. I have numerous VHS versions as well. A few years ago, I had the full screen version transferred to a DVD so I could check it out in open matte along with the 3D BD.

When it comes to the soundtrack, I think I have around ten or so copies.
