Also, Sweet Smell of Success may go OOP. It's a 20th Century Fox title.

All these 3 were/are only 5 GBP each, so I'd recommend grabbing them. Ronin is a nice action film, I haven't seen Porky's yet but it looks like a fun comedy, and SSS is an excellent classic.
Sweet Smell of Success is MGM, not Fox. Are MGM releases also affected by Disney? With respect to at least the BFI catalogue, I had understood from Ben Stoddart on fb that the MGM/UA releases were not affected (contrary to the Fox titles).

The home distribution deal between MGM and Fox is now finished so I can't see MGM releases being affected.

I've just realised now looking on ebay that there are in fact a few different Rivette sets.

There's the original one I have, with the films and Out 1. Then there is a seperate set with the three other films, and a seperate set with Out 1.

Was the set you picked up the original one with Out 1 AND the films?

Yes, I got the original "Rivette Collection" with Out 1, Duelle, Noroît and Merry-go-round, like yourself.
The one with the three films was for the American market since Kino Lorber/Carlotta had rights to Out: 1 for region A. Those are the ones most commonly seen on eBay and Amazon.

I've got a regular Out: 1 release as well, probably going to get rid of it or make it a display piece.

My sale order:

Made sure to grab "A Fish Called Wanda" considering it's going OOP.

I have a feeling this will be the norm for standard edition box sets from now on...

I've tried using a few different sources to see if I can work out what has went OOP. I'm mainly including ones that are not marked as Out of Print on the 1st page of this thread.

Please note some of these are not 100% but I strongly believe they might be (marked these ones with a *)

Still Available in Sale
A Bay of Blood
Dr Phibes Rises Again
Time Bandits *
The Burbs *

OOP - Still listed but unavailable (May become available again?)
Porky's
Dressed to Kill
Phantom of the Paradise
Ronin (surprised as this was quite a short license for an Arrow release)

Other OOP
Blow Out
The Abominable Dr Phibes
The Night of the Hunter
Inferno
Lady Snowblood
All the Bava films

As soon as I received my copy of "Sweet Smell of Success" I flipped that cover like crazy. That takes the cake for me as the worst Arrow commission art in my collection.

Surely it can't be any worse than The Train.
This is one of my favourite war movies, but honestly, the commissioned artwork has to be one of the worst out there in my opinion.

I suppose it depends on one's taste in art. I wouldn't argue that that cover for The Train makes for a good sales pitch for the movie, but as a piece of art, I rather like it.

Oh I agree with you, it is down to one's taste indeed. However, a great film is a great film - that's all that matters at the end of the day.

That’s where I stand too - it doesn’t suit the movie but I think it looks fantastic.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Zimakov's covers; they're a bit too "abstract" for my tastes (I couldn't even tell you whose who on "The Ox-Bow Incident" cover) or don't really fit for the the film they are commissioned for (like "The Train").
