Seriously, you guys are getting all bent out of shape over a failed PM?

It's not like it is even a totally legit PM anyways. RCSS misprinted the picture. No one, not even RCSS, is really selling the Wocka edition for that price, so it is not like anyone is losing out here.

If you managed to get the PM, consider yourself lucky. If you didn't then, hey, that is just how the chips fall sometimes. Life goes on.

anyone ever tried returning a movie they purchased with the trade-in deal? How does that work. Case of buyers remorse...

I believe you get the after trade-in value. If you look at your receipt the price of all the Blu-Rays have already been adjusted.

Depending on the title you are likely better off seeing what a pawn shop will give you or perhaps private sale.

You get back whatever you paid... how else would it work?

Essentially, the DVD is a "$5 Off" coupon.

If you use a $5 RZ coupon (or any other coupon at any other store for that matter) and decide to return the item after, you get your money back, the coupon (in this case, the DVD) is gone.

The RCSS I went to didn't have a single copy of "The Muppets" in any form whatsoever. Not even the DVD. I ended up getting it from Walmart for the same price, to my surprise, they didn't even stop to question it.

I guess I got lucky.

Picked up Dragonheart for $9.99 after Trade and Save at Futureshop.

Also how is The Rum Diary? I was thinking about it but I am a little hesitant as the trailer is only mediocre.

I had DRAGONHEART in my hands today, but didn't pick it up. Not sure if I'm confusing this movie with DRAGONSLAYER or not.

I did pick up TREE OF LIFE ($9.99) and SPY GAMES ($6.99).

if its a missprint count yourself lucky if you get a price match!

Employees are supposed to call one of those stores and they are suppposed to ask if its in stock and what the price is...unless the person on the other line doesnt know about the missprint they would quote you the normal price and you wouldnt get the "deal".

Rum Diary is a rental. Not worth owning. Saw it in theaters and once again when it came out on blu (giving it a second chance)

both times i was left dissapointed.

Funny story.. I got burned price matching once... my intention was to Price Match then use my Best Buy Dollars to pay for it, but after price match I had more in BB Dollars and had to pay more out of pockey than I had I just paid for it as is. Sure I Still got the lower price, but I didn't want to pay cash for it =P

Hmmm. Will have to mull it over. I realized I paid too much for NCFOM. The DVD I traded in was worthless, though.
