I saw that Vann's has CF70's for $550 a pair. I have a pair of CF 50's That I paid $800 for last christmas at Best Buy. Do you guys think that the CF70's would show a noticeable difference or should I just wait and save for a more significant upgrade?

Most of the gain you will get will be in the form of bass. There is no real improvement anywhere else. Personally, Id wait untill you can make a more significant upgrade.

Yeah, maybe I should just stick to my original plan of getting a couple Outlaw Monoblocks for my CF50's and just wait until I get my basement finished to build a proper home theatre. I'm surprised they're not having a big holiday sale like Emotiva. I would be best off getting an XPA 3 ($599)but, the monster wont fit in my tv stand! Go figure.

Just picked up the Veritas V5.2C Center Speaker. Completes my set now

Veritas V5.1 Bookshelf (2)
Veritas V5.2C Center Speaker

Looking back, did I make a mistake getting the Veritas over the RC's? I spent $339 total on the bookshelves and $400 on the Center, while I could have gotten the RC-10 Bookshelves for $300 and the RC-LCR for $300 Any opinions?

Not Really since the finish is so much nicer on the veritas and also i cant tell the subtle difference in sound not to mention the valu if you wish to sell them again will be higher.

Last weekend when I purchased them,the rosenut 5.1 were on sale for $169.99. Price went back up.

Yes it sure is. I'm currently waiting for Christmas money to be able to afford the HSU sub I want, and I had to stop myself from pulling the trigger on a BIC sub today since they are on sale. I came real close to doing it but I decided to hang on a little longer and wait for the one I really want. LOL

No kidding!! Believe it or not, I am also currently saving up to get the HSU STF 2 specially dedicated for my music set up. Then I am also saving to get two more of the Outlaw Model 2200.

Miker, Very Good decision..... that way you'll never ask, what if.......

I say for the rest, put that bad boy up and get it breakin in.... that way come xmas, itll be ready for all the new blu-rays.
