Dexter: Thoughts and predictions [spoilers]

I understand people don't like Quinn but how is him investigating Dexter not good for the show or realistic? Dexter was in the garage before they raided and has acted wierd. It adds great tension to the show and we knew that Kyle Butler had to be investigated and with out a villain this season he needs to be chased for tension or it's going to be like episodes 1 and 2 and rather boring to watch.

Are you saying everything with Quinn is realistic or unrealistic? Because I don't think anyone said it was unrealistic. If I were any of them, I'd be the first person to be suspicious of him. Which makes me wonder why no one else is. Neither episodes one or two were boring to me. You can't really expect the show to just jump back into him killing people after what happened. And not much happened in the second, but this past episode made up for that.

Im saying its realistic, it adds tension to the show and needs to be there. The first 2 episodes werent that boring because of the context but a whole season of that would be terrible and no one would watch. This show is at its best when pressure and suspicion is on Dexter(while hunting and killing people in the process)

Yeah it's definitely realistic, because if I were Quinn I'd do the same exact thing. But the thing is people don't want him to get caught, especially by Quinn. He's just kinda annoying because since he started he's been poking his nose into everything Dexter does.

Yeah really all of a sudden this 1 random donk is on Dexters butt right after JD dies. I hope he gets cut up real nice

I just can't wait to see him go away by the hands of Dexter. He'll finally show him what's he's been up to and that he messed with the wrong person. I just wonder if it'll happen though and under what circumstances.

Dexter keeps there people on lockdown

Last nights show was excellent, I am really liking where this new season is taking us.

not likely this soon, remember how many seasons it took to get rid of Doakes, but I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice that Quinn has been the doakes replacement all along, I wonder if Julia Stiles (Lumen) is replacing Rita?

So I enjoyed the way they passed the hat onto little Harrison, with a birth into blood. I just wish they would have given some omage to Lone Wolf and Cub like put down a ball and a chainsaw and see which one the boy crawls to.

I'm not so sure that Quinn is going to go the way of Doakes. That's ground already covered in Season 2, and this is a show that always seems to go against expectation. I'm very excited to see how this all plays out.

Doakes was always suspicious of Dexter, but Lila killed him. Dexter had no real motive to do it. With Quinn, it'll be him doing it (hopefully) He's been in the show since the 3rd season and from what I can remember he was always looking into Dexter but wasn't so upfront about it.

Like I said, I don't know how anyone couldn't be suspicious of him.

Might not be anything other than me thinking too much but... Deb said “You and Harrison are the most important people in the world to me. The only important people.” Which could indicate something with Quinn. Maybe.. she'll have to shoot him or something
