i haven't been playing madden that long so i dont understand how people take advantage of it but i do like to switch my rec up...so i vote we do away with the rule...

I have no problem whatsoever playing guys out of position, even if it puts me at a disadvantage. Reggie Bush lines up at receiver all the time in a real game. Coaches have their speed receivers line up in the slot too. Tony Gonzalez splits out wide all the time, as do other TE's. Some teams have packages where the TE's line up at FB or RB and go out on pass plays. In Pill's league, my receivers SUCK because I couldn't play Jenkins due to injury, guess who was my second receiver? Norwood....not only was he rated higher than my 2nd WR, he actually performed LIKE a WR.

What happens when you're in a two TE, two RB formation and you audible to a 4 WR set? They're out of position then, is that illegal?

Yeah, it's going to suck for me when D. Jackson lines up in the slot while I'm in a 4-3 or 3-4, it's going to put my safety OR linebacker on him if I go man, which is no match on a streak, but hey, I have to adjust. That's football.

I think I only have 5 WRs. So I guess I can pick up a WR? I have the TE as 6. And I think some positions switch where WRs regardless of their position on the depth chart.

EDIT: Got a 6th WR. USF grad Carlton Mitchell from my alma mater. Yeee haaaaaa
