Question: After redeeming your code how long did it take to show up in Vudu?

After my first purchase, it took at least 24 hours to get the code. Once I redeemed it, it was in Vudu instantly.

i'm trying to watch on my playstation. I redeemed the code through CinemaNow before I realized there isn't an app for that on PSN. will the movie start showing up in VUDU as well, or did I mess up?

If your accounts are linked it should show up.

It shows up. Just go through the steps. I had to sign up for cinemanow and it linked.

it acts like they're linked, but still isn't showing up. i'll play around with it later. at least I know now that it should show up though...

You might have to unlink all your accounts and then relink them. I would start at uvvu first. Unlink them there and then go to Vudu and re link it first. Then do CN second.

No 3D. No sale. Looks stunning otherwise. I suppose I could pick up a loose 3D disc on eBay and swap it out with the included DVD... and just move the DVD to an unused jewel case to be tucked into the back corner of a dark drawer!

That's exactly what I have done with past steelbook purchases (Man of Steel, Transformers 4, The Hobbit BOTFA)...and that's what I will do with this one. I bought the 3D version, swapped out the DVD disc, and sold everything else (case, Blu-ray, slip). Hell you can even sell the DVD disc on Ebay and get around $7 to $10 on release week.

Of course! I got my cinema now code a couple of hours ago, but when I submit the transaction on cinema now's site, I get a notice that there was an error completing my purchase.

EDIT: Fixed it. Decided to check my account details. Updated my CC info and then all was well.

I was one of the first to preorder ( I think when the price was $29.99?). Then, I cancelled and pre-ordered again (I did it 8/11 or 8/12) to get the $19.99 price with Cinema Now code.

I was so tempted to cancel THAT order so I could use the "trick" for in-store pickup (saving me $3 shipping), but then I got paranoid because someone said you would get charged the $19.99 for redeeming the CN code!

So, in the end, I have decided to keep the 2nd pre-order (the ship-to-home option) for fear of having to pay $40 + for 2 copies.
