No one care about the picture quality. We just buy it for the slipcover.

Saw this in the theater today. I don't know any of the details on the DCP but to my eyes it looked fantastic! Healthy grain, deep colors, very sharp. Looking forward to the 4K!

You can't watch what you don't have yet ...
Some retailers started shipping, but release is next week.

Anyway, I watch a movie when I like to not when I receive it. Even with Covid-19 there is plenty to do besides. This is why I replaced the "Braveheart"-BD without ever watching it after 10 years and bought the Ultra HD Blu-ray. Last night I watched a Blu-ray for the first time that I bought in 2015.

My Zavvi steelbook should arrive at the end of next week at the earliest...

EDIT: I think if no one would care for a slip cover or there were none you would not need to buy first day to get one and could wait for a bargain. Same thing with limited steelbooks or the German mediabooks.

Don’t know how reliable the forum considers Films At Home but he said it’s a very dark movie & had to adjust his settings. Guess I’ll have to find out for myself when my copy arrives. I mean Beetlejuice has a a lot of dark scenes as well, hope it’s not an ongoing issue with these new WB releases.

Slip definitely looks like it has some sort of embossing effect, at least it kinda looks like it does?

It does! The embossing effect is the rocks surrounding the image and the title!
