I am sorry to hear that happened to you, mediaguy. Hopefully, some more pop up, at least online, come Tuesday so you can secure a replacement.

I really wish they made it standard practice to ship these steelbooks in boxes.

For those in the know... are the steelbooks being shipped from the same location? And if so, it is common to have different packaging (box versus bubble mailer) from the same location? Just curious how that works. Good luck to all!

Yeah, sadly I have to agree.

Most of my online orders from BB come from the Shepherdsville, KY facility for some reason (I am not that close to it) and I pretty much get bubble mailers all the time. I really wish they would do something about it.

Last December, I went through three separate orders/replacements of the Shang-Chi steelbook arriving damaged over and over in those flimsy mailers.

Best Buy Link product states sold out? Did it pop this morning for purchase? I missed it on original preorder window. I’ll have to get early and chance it with in store at opening tomorrow.

Yes, USPS First Class Package, 9 1/2 x 7 cardboard mailing box. This was my only order, nothing else, 1 copy only. When I saw it on the steps honestly thought it was Amazon!

I preordered on Dec 23 and mine still hasn't shipped, still says "packaging" and says not until Thursday. I am concerned that shipping it that late I might not even get it, and if I do and it's damaged I am out of luck. Ridiculous since I was one of the first to preorder.

I am willing to drive within the LA area to get this damn thing.

I also hope Sony and Best Buy believe this will be a huge seller and will make this in WW84 quantities.

I think this will probably be my last New Release Day steelbook if I can even get it

Received my Bestbuy copy Saturday. In a box with pillows below and on top. Watched it last night. Impressed with the Dolby Vision presentation and audio. Great movie.

It might come back in stock briefly tonight around midnight (Central). But I would expect it to sell out very fast.

That's odd. I placed my order on 4/7 and it arrived on 4/9. Thankfully it was shipped in a box, not a bubble wrap envelope, and arrived in perfect condition.

Honestly if it is sold out tomorrow I'm just going to get the Wal-Mart 4K slip instead. I like that cover art better anyway. I refuse to pay what it's already going for on eBay when I don't even like the cover art. It will suck to break my Marvel steelbook streak though.
