Checked HMV. They were having this lame scratch 'n save thing going on. You didn't know how much off you got (5 - 25%) till after you bought what you brought to the cash. I bet most people only got 5% off their purchase.

Checked WAL-MART. They had a SMALL collection of stuff at what they called "Black Friday Prices". No spectacular deals. Only a FEW (crapy) titles to choose from. Most items were DVDs, not Blu-Rays.

I don't even bother with the big stores. All the stuff I got were at smaller stores which seemed to have some serious savings and nobody knew lol.

In total I saved a good $70. I couldn't be happier.

I have the French release which I got about two years ago. Plus, Pulp Fiction was the only one that was sold out. There was only a few Jackie Brown copies left.

For those who recently purchased Mad Men season 1, does it still come in standard sized amaray case now like the other seasons instead of the old fat case? I purchased it a year ago and really dislike the case size, might rebuy it now if it is shrunk just because it's so cheap.

I wonder what are the chances are that my Amazon purchases will come with slipcovers. Im especially wondering about The Town and The Fighter as I did see a couple of those in store but opted to get off Amazon anyway knowing that would be a gamble

Ive never purchased this many blu-rays at once. It was if I was possessed. I went back to BB today and held some in my hand but had to put them back bc I couldnt justify spending anymore. Now seeing Scarface limited steelbook up for $12 on Amazon, Im tempted to order that and return my $10 version to Walmart. Only problem is I dont have Prime and will have to spend $13 worth more of content to get the free shipping...lol

Half of my Black Friday Haul. Some from Amazon, Wal-Mart and one from BJ's Wholesale Club.

VERY disappointed in The Grinch not having a slip cover. I really, really wanted that one. Oh well, guess I got a green case? First time I saw that for The Grinch's release. All the ones at the store had no slip and a blue case.
