I'm glad that this is distributed by Fox, as it will get a decent Blu-ray release. If done by Disney, there'll be no more than:

- Audio Commentary
- Making Of: Re-imagining the Fantastic 4 (10 min)
- Deleted Scenes (6 min)
- Gag Reel

I'm not getting my hopes up for a Director's Cut. If the movie does decent business, especially opening week, we're getting a sequel in 2017 and Fox isn't gonna put out a longer cut until maybe when the sequel comes out. We may get a handful of deleted scenes.

Trank may have acted like an ass but all signs are pointing to Trank being screwed over by Fox. He had a film that was probably a better film but Fox butchered it with reshoots and they are still saying this is Trank's vision.

The sooner directors of these superhero movies realize that the producers/studios are the real directors, the better off the movies will be. Cooperation between director and suits is always better than the suit having to manhandle the movie away because the director was either uncooperative or incompetent (reports for F4 seem to indicate one or the other). I don't wanna jump on the Trank hate-wagon but it seems like he was a pain in the ass to work with, and probably could've worked a little better with the studio.

From what we can surmise most of the butchering happened before full post-production, which means that a DC isn't likely as they would have to redo a bunch of special effects.
And if it was done in pre-production (which unfortunately is often the case), well, then we can forget it altoghether.

Perhaps it was but then another executive changes his mind or the marketing department comes in and changes everything and the Marketing Departmen nowadays has more power than ten CEOs on steroids.
