If Colbert's ratings were low enough to get it cancelled, then ABC and NBC need to also cancel their 11:30 late night talk shows... because Colbert's ratings are higher than theirs apparently. Supposedly it loses them a lot of money, and I can kind of see that. They have a big band, they sent him to the UK and New Zealand in the past few years, and the guests are either CBS show stars or politicians so that probably only draws a specific crowd... but it does seem a bit weird that instead of trying to make the show cost less they just do away with the whole franchise. But then again, they also ended Late Late Show in favor of After Midnight and when Taylor Tomlinson wanted to leave to focus on touring and thought they'd get a new host, they cancelled the show instead.

But hey were losing money and we have enough to renew South Park for 1.5 Billion dollars

At least it's going to get a conclusion (at the last minute it seems). Shows like Happy! and Chucky are forever on cliffhangers less fans like us do something.

I swear like 10 or more years ago, this show was supposed to be canceled because they were getting rid of soaps. Surprised it's still on. I used to be obsessed with it, but I quit it cold turkey.

Is it still on NBC or just Peacock?
