Are USA PS4s and PS5s region free? Wouldnt want to order these and not be able to play them

I thought they weren't allowed to sell the UK sets to US customers, and were cancelling those orders? Or was that AlltheAnime only? Is Zavvi permitting it?

Does anyone have any experience with Zavvi's packaging? I'm region-free, so $115 (including shipping) makes it pretty tempting to cancel my preorder of the CE with Gkids, but I would hate to risk the hassle of dealing with Zavvi's notoriously bad customer service and shipping copies back and forth across the Atlantic if I got a damaged copy...

^^ I've been dealling with Zavvi shipping to Canada for close to 10 years now and for me, I've had maybe 3 possibly 4 issues in that time.
Steels I receive in cardboard sleeves and anything larger than amarays lately I've received in boxes.
I'd suggest they've stepped up their game lately and for a Limited Edition, I would anticipate receiving it packaged in box quite well.

Others however have stated less than great luck but I think in many cases, that's the gorillas in the Postal System treating everything like a brick rather than Zavvi not trying.

Not sure where you hang your hat but if you are receiving packages from other sites undamaged, then I suspect your Zavvi order will arrive intact as well.

Thanks for this. The CE price was giving me a lot of heartburn, especially considering how cheap the standard edition is, and this is a nice middle ground - I've decided that the ADV dub is non-negotiable to me; watching it on the Platinum singles I bought at FYE as a teenager is too much of a formative memory to ignore. I'm going to have to give switching my order serious consideration before this price disappears!

Well, I went ahead and ordered a copy of the Zavvi Evangelion UK CE for that price, what the hey.

I have the US Ultimate Edition also on order, and even though I have region-switchable Blu-ray players, what I'll likely do is swap the discs in the two sets, so that the Region A discs are in the CE box on my anime shelf for easy access, and the Region B discs are in the Ultimate set that sits out somewhere else mainly for display-only.

I found a listing for the Standard set on Unobstructed View (Canadian retail site). Bizarrely, however, is that it's listing its street date as November 1 (a Monday) rather than November 9th (the actual release date, and a tuesday)

Sent a request to Zavvi regarding the price drop of the Collector's edition and apparently they can't change the price on my existing preorder?
I'd always assumed they'd just drop the price on preorders. I wonder how much money I've thrown away over the last few years by not a paying attention...

You just have to cancel your current order and re-order. I've done that twice on previous orders with them.

Evangelion 3.33 Blu-ray is getting restocked at various retailers.
But it appears that Amazon.com is using a product photo that doesn't include slipcase & booklet.
Does this mean that newly-restocked copies do not include a slipcase and booklet?
