No prob! It's just something that can be dealt with easily if you're willing to put your own spin and creativity into it.

Oh! Something to remember:

"Layer masks" are your friend. No matter how intimidating they can be to learn, it's quite beneficial once you nail them down. I used to hate the idea of using layer masks, but now I try my best to use them at every turn.

I agree with ag... masks are my best friend in PS! So are Adjustment Layers!

Hey all... been a while since my last cover here...

So, here is my newest design for the movie Black Swan. The cover is inspired by the alternative posters for the movie.

same rules apply for getting a copy.

Also, the features and specs for the movie aren't out yet, so I will need to update it some time soon.

Here it is:

Hey BPM... I've actually been wanting to ask for awhile now but sometimes you disappear for extended periods of time

. I'm sorry if this has been asked before, I've looked through this entire thread and didn't see it asked in here.

I've checked out your Blu series (well, the pics that you've posted and whats in your gallery) and I really like it, just wondering how you determine which movies you put in that series. Are those the blu's that you own, or do you use other criteria, only certain movies that you want? Just curious...

Sorry 350, I am off and on here...

My Blu-Series are done for any movie I get on blu that there isn't a custom for. I used to also do requests too, but have stopped that now. I used to have about 20 on the go at a time, and it was rather time consuming.

Yeah, dont know how to technically explain it, but it is a that subtle transition from one color to another. For example where the black fades to the red like you were saying. Thank god Photoshop has those tools built in. I would hate to try and do it from scratch.

And don't be reluctant to finish the cover just because someone else used the same poster. I'm sure there are quite a few out there that used that poster art for their customs. The important thing is to add your touch, and make the work yours, and unique!

Thanks for everyone's support and input on this. I really appreciate it and I will keep working on this cover and give it my spin.

I haven't purchased it yet... must resist the urge... argh... will probably one of these days when its cheap... unless its at best buy... yuck to flippers!
