Did people expected anything less from this movie considering it was directed by Josh Trank who did the boring Chronicles.

I had some interest on seeing it but i guess im gonna see SouthPaw instead.

I expected quite a bit (and I still haven't completely given up hope) from this precisely because it was directed by the guy who did Chronicle.
