This is NOT a Marvel movie, This is a FOX movie that I am happy you enjoyed, But unfortunately it has bombed critically and with audiences and will probably bomb at the box office as well.

I had something of an epiphany yesterday.

I was really, really bummed when the reviews for this started piling up and I couldn't understand why. I've been disappointed by movies before and it's never really saddened me.

Then it hit me - I'm going to miss this thread.

That's what I was bummed about. I felt a lot better after realizing that.

Of course, it's bound to hit me sooner or later that getting attached to thread is pretty pathetic at which point I'll probably get depressed all over again but I'll throw myself off that bridge when I come to it.

Now, we all know the movie currently sits at a (terrible) 10% positive critic aggregate (what RT is).

"At least ist's 1% better than Catwoman" might be the reaction, but this is the general critic score, which includes dozens of blogs who might be fans of Chronicle or the FF to start with.

If we only look at "Top Critics" which are the more established critics only, here's what we got :

Fantastic Four RotSS (2007): 33%
Fantastic Four (2005): 30%
Green Lantern: 19%
Batman & Robin (1997): 11%
Catwoman: 9%
