Well at least the season is longer. After a six episode season 1 and 14 episode season 2 this season is 16 episodes.

Very solid first episode, should be some nice drama with the prisoners and the group.

AMC already announced season 3 is 16 episodes. No way they'd make season 3 shorter given how huge the ratings are for this series. I was slightly off about season 2 - it was 13 episodes. So we're getting an extra 3 episodes this year.

I'm fine with it given this time of the year Sunday nights are already over saturated with great shows. Most of the really good dramas (Homeland, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, etc.) all overlap on Sunday nights.

Now that was some great zombie apocalypse action tonight! It seems the showrunners heard the complaints about last season. Though why Maggie was tagging along with the hunting group was beyond me. I guess since Andrea is out at the moment, the show wanted at least one female character in the posse.

Great start to season 3! Very exciting action. Carl is growing up really fast. That sucks for Hershel what had to be done in order for him to survive.

I missed it. I was out fishing longer then expected.. Am I going to have to wait until next week or is there a place online to watch it? I checked amctv.com and couldn't find the episode..
