He's not face. It's that obvious heel tactic where they pretend to be nice and then when you let your guard down they low blow you and try and take your belt, or in his case raise the price of Dead Pit.

But they have a lot in common with what was relayed to me concerning his personality, in daily life, when he is not playing up the wrestling-style advertising or being actively baited by people who live to argue and complain. I've said before, David is a decent guy, by all accounts. And, when I ask, people tend to answer, in life anyway, since, in life, people know who I am. So, those nice posts? That's all David.

Miribeau is all about authority and control. By acting like she knows Bill and Demon Dave better than all of us do, that makes her feel superior. Same thing about defending them of their business tactics. She likes to show off how smart she is (she may really be a very smart person) but it's all about 1-upping everyone else, meaning she's smarter and better than we are. What is known as a control freak.

You probably wouldn't be surprised how often I'm asked that question in life, not about David DeFalco, generally, but about random people. I am just a person who was criticized mercilessly as a youth and was lucky enough to grow up relatively well and discover that it often only takes one person defending you to remind you that the people putting you down are only devaluing themselves, not you, as kindness is never a fault. So, I defend people when I feel they are being unfairly crapped on, which I imagine a lot of people here would do, were they not afraid of the other people here. I often wonder if some of the people here have ever considered just being nice to the label owners and treating them like human beings, but then I get distracted and go watch a movie.

As I've said before, I don't know either Bill or David. I have asked people what they are like, on occasion, because I like to know if the people I support in business are decent people. Bill can be... well... Bill, but he is a pretty decent person, even if he does let anger get the best of him sometimes. Don't most people? I openly support his company and recommend his releases because I know he doesn't go of his way to do harm to anyone and he clearly does his best. I don't expect perfection. I know some of you do, but I don't. As to David, before deciding not only to frequent his store but recommend it to others, I wanted to know what kind of guy he was, so I asked a few people. It isn't that hard when you get stuck in LA for a month out of every year, sometimes more. You don't have to know someone to know if they are decent. You only have to ask. The world is full of people who love to talk to other people.

To be as clear as possible, I am not about control or authority. Control is an illusion. No one has it, even though some like to think they do. Rather than pay a shrink to help me gain control of my life many years ago, as so many I've known have done, only to say it was a waste, I opted to save my money and jump to the deathbed realization that life happens, no matter how well you plan. It happens on its own schedule and with minimal input from the human who wishes they were in charge of it. Control is just about the last thing on my mind and I hope you get there too. It just makes life easier.

Authority is often, also, an illusion, as it is achieved by gift or by force. When taken, it doesn't count. When given, it is given to people like the Kardashians. Either way, God made us all equal and I think he knew what he was doing when he created us that way. I may be smarter than many of you, as you were saying, as that happens in life, but I'm less in so many other ways, too numerous to bother listing. Everything averages out in the end and, after all, being smarter isn't being better. Where, one person is exceptional in one area, you will find that they fall short in another. God's sense of balance and one of the only ways in which life can actually be a little fair.

I hope you won't continue to devalue yourself with this kind of odd discussion in the future, by referring to anyone as better than you without remembering to include that this is only one measure. You are special in ways that I am not, and it really doesn't matter who wins in which contest, as the contest itself is also an illusion. Just because someone comes off as intelligent doesn't mean they are better than anyone, including you, cloudnine, and, for the record, you seem pretty fine to me, pretty normal, and that is more than good enough.

So, David reiterated that work is being completed on the Dead Pit box. Those details can be found on the Facebook page. Of more importance, since we already know that is coming up in, I believe he said, under two weeks, he went on to say that, after Dead Pit and Point Doom, he is looking to Breeders. So, that may be coming up sooner than we thought. So, that is good news. Also, the store is down temporarily for new stock that Bill sent him.

I wonder how they plan to ship these special boxes? I hope they plan to use a box or at least bubble wrap. I never received anything damaged from them before but I don’t think a bubble mailer with a piece of cardboard would work on anything more delicate than a standard Blu-ray case.

I was wondering what this 3D cover was going to be that Dave was mentioning. For those that don't visit FB, it appears it will be an embossed slip cover (o-card).
