DNS Error - Page 3 - Blu-ray Forum

I've been having a DNS issue but thats only because my internet company (Time Warner) is having sh!ty problems. Time Warner sucks

I was having the same issue last night. I can browse websites and even check for new firmware updates, but can't login to the store. I have a hard-wired connection back to my router. My Playstation 3 is set to a static IP address too.
Don't think this is an issue on the ISP side. Not having any DNS issues on any of my other computers.

same here. for crying out loud XBL was better. WTF!!!!!!

Considering they have only been experiencing this issue on their network for a couple of weeks, its a bit premature to throw all the advantages of the PSN away.

yeah I know. its just annoying. but it's been longer for me due to time warner and playstation having some sort of conflict.

Graphic User Interface- the Xross Media Bar. You'll need to go into the network setup. I don't remember the exact wording since I'm not in front of it currently.

Some of us have had it well longer than that. However I remember when Live was completely down for a few days when they were doing an upgrade and again during Christmas due to all the new users. You'd think someone shot a puppy.

Ok, now my wired connection has started having the DNS error, which is odd (and for some reason I thought wired connections were pretty fool-proof).

Last time I looked up my DNS servers and changed those in the settings, but that has even failed now (my wireless PS3, which I fixed the DNS server settings on, started having the DNS error again yesterday).

The problem seems to be affecting people with RoadRunner, and why it's suddenly happened in the last few weeks.... I have no idea.

Anyway, use these as your DNS servers, instead of the ones your router/modem are telling you:

Primary: 208.67.222.222

Secondary: 208.67.220.220

Happened to me last night as well,

I had to shut down my laptop, then PS3 connected just fine.
