The Office is out today, can anyone confirm if it is region free????

Axel Music says it's "most likely" region free. They're usually right as they go by the DVD manufacturer's usual policy, and will probably confirm it in a few days.

I REALLY want to pick this up! The Office is my favorite show. I'm a little low on $ right now though. Ordered Crank High Voltage & Knocked Up from Amazon & bought Black Hawk Down last night.

I may have to wait a little bit OR maybe even just buy the DVD set (would way rather have it on blu though!).

man just learned that the blu-ray has a soundboard bonus feature that has lines from all the cast members. That should be entertaining.

Watching it now actually.. Started on season 1 again, half way through season 2.. leading up to the season 5 blu

It is region-free. I picked mine up as soon as Best Buy opened. Too bad they did not offer the Schrute Farms gift packaging with the Blu or I would have snagged that. Was not about to buy the special dvd just for that.

Great, I want this.
And I dont even have to wait for a dutch subtitled version because I bought the season1+2 dvd over here, and the jokes get lost in the translation.

There was a schrute farm exclusive to the dvd version? Damn, I would have wanted that. Hope we see the first seasons on blu-ray aswell, Schrute Bucks ftw, funniest thing ever

Has anyone else watched their copies yet? I'm about halfway through the episodes on disc two, and I have to say it looks fantastic. My only complaint about the set is that the sound on the deleted scenes is hit or miss. Sometimes it sounds OK, sometimes it's incredibly quiet. I'm also not a huge fan of Universal's every-blu-gets-the-same-menu choice, but I can deal with that for this kind of quality.

I have found that almost all the time I have to crank the volume for Office deleted scenes on all the old seasons. Don't know why but that seems the way it is. I've got mixed feeling on the menu. I would like it more if it had the commentary options above each episodes so I wouldn't have to go back through menus to turn the commentaries on/off.

I got my S5 Blu-ray in yesterday and am watching the second disc now. Looks great! I do have one question though - did a caption phrase accidentally get in the normal version? If anyone can watch theirs too and see if it does this:

In The Surplus, towards the end when they are deciding what to do with the copier/chair situation, Michael is sitting at Pam's desk (and slowly falling haha) and talking about how others dont have chairs and copiers. Then all of the sudden at the bottom it says "(exclaims in annoyance)" Weird.

That exact thing happened to me, too. Just that spot, nowhere else. It was weird.
