I ordered mine from DDD House today. I was hoping for a trilogy box set, too, but releasing as singles is easier for me to afford right now. I can't wait for it to get here!

Good news, I'm going to Hong Kong in two weeks time, i'll buy it then. Can anyone recommend any decent shops to buy it from, dont really wanna go HMV.

any decent indepedent shops in mongkok etc

There's a chain called WideSight. I bought a lot stuff from their stores when I was there, the prices are always cheaper than HMV. Every store is cheaper than HMV actually, just stay away from buying stuff there. There was also a shop in Causeway Bay that I can't remember the name of but there was a good selection, a lot of Shaw Bros. from what I remember too. You just have to look out for the smaller stores. I was always finding new places that I would have never found unless I was wandering around.

EDIT: Looks like Police Story has been delayed. YesAsia lists it as September 14 now and DDDHouse has it for September 18.

Extras for Police Story are slim just like The Big Boss and Fist of Fury.

It only includes NG Shots & a Photo Gallery and it looks like Dolby TrueHD 7.1 sound only.

When this was released in the US as Supercop, wasn't it butchered by Miramax? I'm really looking forward to seeing it uncut for the first time.

Yep, it was cut by Harvey "Scissorhands" Weinstein not by Disney.

The Fortune Star BD should be the complete Hong Kong version.

It was extremely butchered

It was sad what was done to that movie. That is why I want a Asian release on BD. I am tired of North American releases destroying foreing movies with horrible cuts and dubbing.

I doubt there will ever be a box set of all four. If I remember correctly Fortune Star owns the rights for the first three movies and Warner has the rights for First Strike. In addition, even if Warner were to release the movie on blu-ray and uncut it would probably not have English subtitles since that seems to be the norm all their other JC movies.

Actually, Warner Hong Kong does not present the Jackie Chan films uncut. They are the same as the US version with Drunken Master II being cut slightly more.

This is why I import all asian movies. I will pay the extra dollar to get an uncut version.

Even though they moved the release date on Police Story to the 18th on their site, I got a shipping notice this morning from DDD House. I've never ordered from them before so I'm not sure how long it should take from Hong Kong to Wisconsin, but I should hopefully have it before the 18th even rolls around.

I think yes, not sure about all 4 being in a box set but there is a good chance the first 3 might.
