Default Must Watch: Creepy Official UK Red Band Trailer for [Rec] 2!

Quote:
Ahhh! Anyone looking for a morning wake-up call? Just watch this! IGN has debuted a brand new official red band trailer for [Rec] 2, the Spanish sequel to the original horror film [Rec] from a few years back. It's not like we haven't seen this before, as this is the third time we've featured a trailer for [Rec] 2, but I feel like this is the most raw footage we've seen and damn does this look creepy as hell! I'd love to go watch this, but just like the original film, I'm not sure it'll ever come to the US on its own, only at a film festival, and that's a damn shame. Anyway, this is just an intense trailer that everyone needs to see

Idea for Rec 3

[Show spoiler]Bring the survivor to a hospital to for a checkup. The entire film is shown through survelliance cameras throughout. Insanity ensues

Default Red Band Trailer

Red Band Trailer <<Click the link to check it out.

Quote:
Magnet Releasing has debuted a new Red Band trailer for [Rec] 2, coming to theaters on July 9. Written and directed by Jaume Balaguero and Paco Plaza, the film stars Manuela Velasco, Leticia Dolera and Juli Fabregas.

[Rec] 2 picks up 15 minutes after the first film, taking us back into the quarantined apartment building where a terrifying virus has run rampant, turning the occupants into mindlessly violent, raging beasts. A heavily armed SWAT team and a mysterious government official are sent in to assess and attempt to neutralize the situation. What they find inside lies beyond the scope of medical science—a demonic nightmare of biblical proportions more terrifying than they could have possibly imagined. Above all it must be contained, before it escapes to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting world outside.

I only saw "Quarantine" and I thought it was pretty good. I'll probably see Rec since they have continued the story on Rec 2.

The Blu-ray for Rec2 is out in spain already. Spanish language and it includes english subtitles. Not sure about the region coding but it was released by Warner Brothers.

Edit: According to dvdgo.com it is a region B Blu-ray so I'm out of luck.

Default [REC] 2 - HDNet Movies Sneak Preview

I saw on HDNet Movies they are going to have a free sneak preview before it hits theaters here in the States.

July 7th @ 6 PM (they usually show these 2-3 times on that scheduled night)
http://www.hdnetmovies.com/movies_sneakpreviews.html

I know I'm trying to get my hands on the blu-rays (for [REC] and [REC]2) and I still haven't seen the original but this is a great opportunity to see the sequel for free in your home.

Or rent it from on demand. The original is awesome, and my favorite horror film last decade. I'm watching 2 tonight.

That sucks they don't carry it anymore. It is a pretty good channel and they have had some good free previews in the last year or so (House of the Devil, Red Cliff, D13:Ultimatum, etc.).

I just grabbed [REC] on DVD for $5.99 @ Hollywood Video. I'm excited to see it and will definitely be watching [REC] 2 on HDNet (and then hopefully BLU )
