IS the movie itself any good. Shia Lebouf(spelling??) is in that one I think. He almost ruined Transformers for me---almost.

I agree with pretty much everyone's top picks for BPQ but one disc that I havent seen that I would put in my top 5, that made even my wife go wow with the clearity and look of it was "Corpse Bride". She hardly has any clue what she's looking at usually and when she remarked how beautiful the picture was on that one I always have used it as a show off disc. lol It's really nice IMO.

Nobody mentioned HAPPY FEET?!?!?! Here is my opinion... from what I've seen. Top three in no particular order.

- CASINO ROYALE (Just everything about this one rules!!!)
- HAPPY FEET (Snow/water textures and colours are STELLAR-DEFINITION!!!)
- TRAINING DAY (I can see crater shadows in Denzel Washingtons pores!!!)

yup Apocalypto is definitely a good one, I also have Happily Never After but have not seen it. As for monster house, it was a real good movie, but I would nbot advise it for young kids, it does get a bit scary it was a blind buy for me (most movies are) and some of my nieces and nephews got a bit frightened from it.

POTC 1 or 2,

But if you want to Ooo and Ahhh your friends, pop in the first 20 min of Casino Royale.

The chase scene looks, and sounds amazing.

I read a review that said Training Day had a pretty dark transfer, and that the HD DVD (gotta get something good) was a tad better in terms of PQ. I really like this movie, but this kind of put me off. Have you by any chance had a chance to compare the HD DVD and the Blu Ray? The lack of uncompressed audio is kind of a turn off too.
