Great film, well worth a spin once or twice. I originally saw this as a bootleg VHS copy of an Italian made movie, in English, with Japanese subtitles.

It was weird and quirky, guess that's why it's stuck with me for so many years.

One of the first Blu-Rays I bought, and still one of my favorites. This film is just amazing to me, yet every time I try to talk to someone about it they usually don't know about it. I recommend it to anyone but especially those that live in the San Francisco area. It's a true story about a serial killer who killed in the Bay Area in the 60's and 70's. A great story, great actors, and great visuals. The film is one of the first to be filmed entirely digitally and it looks amazing on Blu-Ray, not a blemish at all. The 2 disc set includes awesome special features including documentaries specifically created for this release where they interview the real life victims and people involved with the real case.

I would strongly suggest House. It is a great piece of Japanese cinema. It is supposed to be "horror" but it is actually complete randomness. You can only find it in the Criterion Collection.
