Usually not an issue, what ever doesn't sell in 30 days can always be returned to the store so the credit card company doesn't hit you hard for interest etc.

HOLY SHAZ! Those are amazing! I wish we had a Future Shop here in the U.S. or atleast a retailer that could distribute those beauties. I would really like the Nightmare Before Christmas Steelbook and if the UP and WALL-E ones are coming then those as well. I hope they do some sort of Steelbook for UP's release here in the U.S. because I would so be on that!

I'm not worried about you two... I was directing my comment to our younger members who might not have the cash to start a massive SteelBook collection but buy them anyway on their credit cards... SteelBooks can be addictive, but I just hope noone is pulling a MC Hammer just to get them...

Ay ya ya.. I think I'm in love!

I think only a few of those are going to be the true steelbook covers. A lot of them are clearly pictures of the regular bluray case.

These will probably sell out super quick, unless FS mass produces them. Disney collectibles sell like hotcakes.

So with that logic we have to buy 4 of each (at least) because there's 2 different Steelbooks my friend. (diff UPC and Language)

Do I hear 7?
I counted 14.
It will be more.

I'll order 3 of each for insurance since my boss won't let me go at 10 AM every tuesday morning... I will sure have an appointement soon in the afternoon though. I absolutely have to hand pick a few.

I don't know which store to go...
Last time I cleaned them all.

Yup we do, well it is actually 2 of each release. 2 English and 2 French. The added bonus of this is that even if you return 1 of each after release, you are still over the free shipping mark ($39) and they, FS, cannot complain about it

Actually, there are only 13 as of this moment as Pirates does not have a French release, yet

I just went with the two of each release as I will be able to go up at opening every Tuesday as my boss knows how much of a freakaziod I am with this stuff

Don't forget that in December FutureShop starts opening earlier and ealier the closer it gets to Christmas. So if you go at 10am for the Pirates release they might be sold out already as I think by dec. 22nd they are opening at 8am.

Interesting side note for the thread, for those that do not know, but FutureShop is owned by Best Buy, and with Best Buy also having a "sort of" Steelbook for Sleeping Beauty, they may also see some of thsese.

Thanks for the info.

If they did this one, I am sure they will do the first one as well (fingers crossed)

EDIT:

Their schedule seems to be one per week and we are still missing one for Decmber 8th

It definitely looks like they're going to release the first one, but why didn't they do a "trilogy" 3-disc steelbook?
