I had a lot easier time accepting this as a mercenary in the real world than this. I can buy a dude in a red mask and leather jumpsuit fighting crime, but a mercenary in a blue jump suit... I don't think that'd fly. Why would he wear that outfit?

And don't forget: for a while, Bullseye DID look like that in the comics. Not sure if his costume just covers up the scar now or if they retconned it away, but it was definitely there for a while.

But people seriously didn't like Duncan as King Pin? I thought it was a great take on the character.

Exactly. He's a business man. Just... his business is crime.

Unlike most, I thought Affleck did a good job. The film let him down.
As Kevin Smith said; "Affleck could play anything. He could even play the shark in Jaws." LOL.

EDIT:

That's right, Kevin Smith was in this, wasn't he?

I didn't like Kingpin because I felt like MCD was just cast because he's a big guy. He didn't fit the role to me. In the past, such as in The Island or The Green Mile or even Planet of the Apes, those were better fits for him to me. Here he just didn't feel right. I didn't see him as a businessman- maybe the businesman's bodyguard.

Good point. I usually like MCD for the roles you mentioned, most notably The Green Mile and Planet of the Apes. There was something about him in Daredevil that seemed...off.

DD (director's cut) has got to be the most underrated comic book movie of them all. The acting is good, the story is really interesting (heck, it's Frank Miller's story!), and it's got a cool soundtrack.

^^^^^^^^

Agreed, plus the Audio is Top-Notch (which makes sense, being as he needs his Hearing mainly, to do his crime-fighting)
