Just recived the BR's Final Destination 1-3 from freerecordshop.nl. They are all region free, audio is English 5.1 HD Master, dutch subs are removeable and the aspect ratio is as it should be (not 16:9, like the canadian BR's)

Sorry, the coverinformation is wrong.

Final Destination has 1.78:1 as the US
Final Destination 2 has 1.78;1
Final destination 3 widescreen

Does this mean unremovable subtitles or simply that you have to change the subtitle options everytime the movie starts to play because they're setup by default?

My import of 1408 is like that but since I like the movie so much it's not a bother.

That wouldn't bother me. Personally, I rate the theatrical version of Blade 3 far more than Goyer's slightly longer version. I think this was one of the unusual examples of a studio exerting control and creating a better version.

Well, I can only compare them with the RC1 DVD's.
I only have a Full HD "46 Display.

FD 1 looks really great.
FD 2 & 3 look much better than the upconverted DVD's but are not that great looking.(well these are no Blockbusters, so do not expect a BR picture like Casino Royal) I don't regret the purchase for a second.
