Default Target Exclusives

Looks like Gremlins, Goonies, Wizards of Oz and Gone With the Wind will be early exclusives at Target according to Digital Bits.

Wizard of Oz and Gone With the Wind will be available without all the swag items if you weren't looking to pay for that.

Article can be read here.

Gremlins and Wizard of Oz have been confirmed by Pfdfiredog to be released tuesday!

Goonies and Gone With the Wind are scheduled for a November 17th release.

Good news on Goonies. The UK has had that for almost a year now on blu...and I've been too forgetful to import.

Odd Goonies would be one of the titles... in the last home theatre forum WBs stated GOONIES would be out 2010 for an anniversary edition.. they seemed to phrase it as a new transfer possibly or more extras? I could be wrong... but maybe they dropped that plan.

Seems like europe gets better deals than us, I think that we need some more better deals like that.

Better deals? Prices are way higher in Europe and we get a ton more releases! I feel lucky to live in the States where discs are so cheap and so much new content is coming out each week.

Gremlins is $22 on release day- it's only a couple bucks more. With it being a Target exclusive I'll take the risk on it and grab it on release.

I was so excited for Goonies I should've said, "BABY RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTH!"

That is cool.. I guess they are gonna just release the normal release. I am sure it will come with the already released DVD bonus features.

Still not sure If I am gonna do the bigger box set... it seems to me with OZ that the the BDs etc come in that case inside of the BIGGER more expensive release ... I guess that When The Lion Roars DOC ommited. so I will check it out when Target opens on Tuesday.

Tuesday is a expensive day

For some reason the bits article is not showing up. The last entry I see is 9/23 about Watchmen. Does it confirm what you are getting for 34 bucks? How many discs?

I don't know what to tell you, you may need to refresh or dump your cache. But it's definitely there as the most recent post.

It's directly above that, under the Restoring the Alamo banner ad.

UK Import of the Goonies has been out for a little while now. Awesome PQ and AQ. The UK version has Dolby TruHD, I hope that it stays the same for the US release as well.
