Exempt means you are not hourly and are paid a steady income.

I worked in the food inustry many moons ago. I got out of prison for a small crime. I have been employed in many jobs due to my criminal background. I am no longer an alcoholic or drug user. I am fully rehabilitated now. I got in trouble for stealing at my jobs which landed me some prison time. I am currently a professional liar.
